Scott and Stiles had no time to react. They were pulling in to Deaton's clinic and the thought was shoved into the back of their brains as they rushed Robin inside through the back door.

Deaton brought them to one of the tables and checked Robin's heartbeat before asking them to wait.

"Wait? What? Why do we have to wait?" Deaton turned to Stiles, eerily calm.

"Because I still have a patient." Deaton motioned to the dog who was growling at Maria and Scott. Maria made sure that none of them were watching before she looked to the dog and her eyes lit up red. The dog whimpered once before rolling over and showing her belly to Maria. Somehow, neither Scott, nor Maria had sniffed the other werewolf out.

Deaton looked at the girl with a raised eyebrow as Maria stepped forward and pet the young beagle. "Every time I approach that dog, she nips at my hand, her owners are having the same problem." He didn't continue, but gave Maria a strange look before getting back to work on the dog.

Twelve minutes later, Deaton was checking on Robin. His heartbeat was fine and his eyes were responsive, but the rest of him wasn't. Deaton pulled away from the body with furrowed brows.

"I'll have to do more tests, but I think this is something I should talk about with Scott." He gave Scott a pointed look and walked away. Scott followed him confused and Stiles watched them walk away in concern before turning back to Robin. Maria watched with silent interest.

When Stiles felt her gaze, he turned to Maria. "Married?" He flinched at the break in his voice, but didn't look away.

"Uhm," Maria glanced back at where Scott and Deaton had left to before clearing her throat and looking back to Stiles. "Yeah." She shuffled on her feet awkwardly. "But that's a story for another time. Right now, Robin needs help. Has he said or done anything weird today."

Stiles tried to think before he shook his head. "I wouldn't know, I haven't been with him today." Stiles was on the edge of tears when he realized that, maybe, if he had answered his text, Robin would be okay right now. Then he thought about it.

"Do nicknames count as weird." Maria snapped up from fiddling with her fingers and nodded.

"Yeah," She glanced at Robin. "He barely gives anyone nicknames. God," She started muttering to herself. "I can't believe I forgot that. He called me Ri, he did that last time." Just then, Scott and Deaton walked in.

"This has happened before?" Scott looked at her with a tilted head and Maria almost smirked at the thought of him being a puppy; instead, she answered him with a nod of her head.

"Yeah. Around two months ago, he fell into a week-long coma and Doctors never found a reason, or cause. He still has to see a doctor twice a month to get his vitals and everything checked." Stiles looked up like someone had flickered a light on in his brain.

"I was wondering where he went these last few weeks; he came back with needle holes in his arms and Scott said that he sme-" Scott cleared his throat and Stiles' eyes widened. "Uh, smeared some- you know what? Nevermind." Maria raised an eyebrow, but let it go.

The bell above the clinic went off and rushing footsteps were heard by Scott and Maria. "Scott?"

Scott left the room to greet his mom and Maria turned away surprised when he rushed by. She could smell him. Or, more specifically, his wolf. "Holy shit! That makes so much sense!" She shouted to herself.

"What?" She turned to Stiles and narrowed her eyes, trying to figure out if he knew, but it was Scott's best friend. So, yeah, he knew.

'I know what Scott is.' She mouthed carefully. His eyes widened and he sat there stunned when Scott and Melissa came through the door.

"Scott, she knows." Scott furrowed his brows and Maria whipped her head to Stiles with an incredulous look. He looked at her with a shrug.

"Everyone here already knows about it." Maria huffed, but nodded.

"Knows what?" Scott, being the confused puppy he his, was lost. Maria leveled him with a flat look.

"What you are, wolf boy." Scott looked at her surprised.

"What? How? Nevermind. Mom," Melissa turned to face her son, looking away from Maria. "Can you check on Robin? Should we take him to the hospital?" Melissa waved a hand and waved Stiles off of the stool he was sat on next to Robin.

"I don't know yet, let me look at him first." Scott nodded and looked at Maria, she was looking at Melissa with a hard look. He walked over and bumped her elbow with his.

"You alright?" She nodded but didn't move her eyes from his mom. He figured that was as best as he was gonna get after she didn't say anything. He looked down at his shoes.

"Scott," Melissa didn't look away from Robin as her son turned towards her. "Who's your friend?" Scott and Maria glanced at each other.

"This is Maria. Uhm," Scott shuffled on his feet. "Robin's wife." Melissa looked up with raised eyebrows and scanned Maria. She pursed her lips and tilted her head back down to see Robin.

Robin was blanking out. He was still able to hear, but he couldn't focus on some of the words. He couldn't remember what happened last time; he wasn't able to access his mind and didn't want anything like that to happen again. So, he did what he does best.

Stiles, Scott, and Maria were all absorbed in a conversation with themselves. Melissa and Deaton were both right there. So, when Robin's body started glowing, the adults noticed it, but the teenagers didn't until he started shaking. Robin's arms were banging on the table and Deaton was trying to hold them down.

"DON'T!" Maria moved Deaton and Melissa away from the body and covered their eyes before closing hers. Scott got the message and covered his own and Stiles' eyes as well. They all saw orange through their eyelids as Robin glowed brighter and his light produced a heat that warmed them to an overwhelming degree.

Then it stopped.

Maria slowly opened her eyes and when she saw Robin on the table with his eyes opened, she rushed over. "Robin!" His fingers twitched, but otherwise he was unresponsive. She grabbed his arm before pulling back with a hiss and cradling her arm.

"Ice! He needs ice!" Scott and Deaton were the first to respond as Stiles and Melissa watched with wonder. "Robin? Robin can you hear me?" His fingers twitched and he moved his eyes to look at her.

"Robin?" Stiles walked up to the body and touched his arm gently. Robin was warm, but not uncomfortably so. Maria looked at him with furrowed brows.

"You should be burning." She said with wonder. What a marvelous thought, Stiles thought sarcastically. He shrugged and brought his other hand up to run his fingers through Robin's hair.

"We got Ice." Scott held up the bags. They threw the ice in a metal tub and Maria lifted Robin into it. He inhaled sharply when he made contact with it before sighing relieved.

"Maria?" The bell to the clinic went off and two sets of footsteps were heard. "We felt the Warmth, is Robin alright?"

Maria turned to the doorway as Josh and Brandon walked in. "Yeah, he will be."

"Will someone tell me what's going on?" Everyone turned to Stiles.
