i sigh as she jumps up excitedly

"only because i love you" i whine

she laughs, pulling me into a hug

"you're the beeesst"

i laugh "yeah, yeah"

i awkwardly sit in the corner, feeling out of place

mostly because i am out of place

i'm not a youtuber and i'm just not a party person over all

a guy and girl, who are holding hands, walk over to me

"hi, i'm kristen" she says with a big smile on her face

"and i'm scott" he says

i smile widely "nice to meet you, i'm y/n"

"you're really pretty" kristen compliments

i blush "thank you. so are you"

she blushes "thanks"

"so why are you over here all alone?" scott asks

i shrug "not really a party person. i kind of just got dragged here"

kristen frowns "by who?"

"liza"

her eyes widen "no way. you're the y/n that liza always talks about?"

"um, i guess"

"she's always saying how amazing you are and i couldn't wait to meet you" she continues

i blush "well, she is too kind"

scott shakes his head "no really. we all couldn't wait to meet you"

"all?" i question

a big smile appears on both of their faces, making me nervous

"we'll be right back" kristen says, taking scott's hand and leading him into the crowd

a few heart pounding minutes later, they appear with liza

"hey girly. how's the party?" liza asks, throwing her arm around my shoulder

"eh"

she laughs "yeah, well"

a moment of silence falls upon us

"hey, did you want to meet some people?"

i shrug "sure"

she smile, leading me over to a group of guys

"hey guys" liza says, grabbing their attention "this is my friend, y/n"
