"hey, david's having the gang over for a movie night. wanna come?" liza asks

i smile widely, but then stop "i-um- i wasn't invited"

"yes you were. look" she says, showing me her text messages with david

dave: we're all watching movies tonight, bring y/n

i smile widely "okay, let me get ready"

she nods, as i run to my room, changing into adidas joggers and a t shirt

"alright, let's roll" i say

liza laughs along with me as we walk to her car

she drives to david's house with a big smile on her face

"what are you all happy about?" i ask, laughing

she smiles wider "you and david would be adorable together"

i blush "keep dreaming"

she groans "no, he likes you and you like him. make a move"

i playfully roll my eyes "i've only known him for a few months. calm down"

she playfully rolls her eyes as she parks and gets out

i get out too, walking with her to the door

"i'm just saying that it should happen" she says, opening the door

"liza" i groan "drop it"

"drop what?" david asks, walking over to us

"the fact that y/n has a crush" liza says, smirking at me

david's smile falls slightly before fixing it a second later

"who's your crush?" he asks, looking at me

i shrug "no one"

david looks at liza but all she does is shrug "can't tell you. bro code"

david nods "fair enough"

he seems to drop it, thankfully, as the three of us make our way into the living room

already sitting on the couch is zane, heath, toddy, scotty, and kristen

"everyone is here" david says, taking a spot on the end of the couch

liza sits on the opposite end of the couch as i look for a place to sit

but there is none

"where am i gonna sit?" i ask with a pout

"you can sit on my lap" toddy says with a smile

i shrug, walking over to him and plopping down in his lap

he wraps his arms around me as david scrolls through netflix

"where's corinna?" i ask, turning to look at toddy

he shrugs "don't know. don't care"
