Chapter 69

Amy's POV:

So basically to cut a long story short. We went to school and we did absolutely nothing. Shocker I know. The good thing is that our teacher was very impressed with how our project turned out so that's a good thing. We only had 4 periods so we were done with school for the day pretty quickly which I don't mind at all.

Vik, Cindy, Anna and I were spending some time at a little but cute park nearby. We haven't hung out as a group for ages. I barely know what Anna is up to, I don't hear about Cindy either because she's basically with my brother literally 24/7 and yeah well Vik is the one that I see the most. It felt nice to have all my friends together again.

"Give me that" Vik said grabbing the candy out of my hand. Uhh rude?

"Yeah you're welcome, you can eat it. It's really no problem " I sarcastically said while rolling my eyes. She blew me a kiss and I giggled. She's a weirdo.

"Sooo how have you and Jayden been eh?" I asked Cindy giving her a smirk. She blushed and looked down.

"It's been pretty damn good if I do say so myself. He's amazing and I'm super happy" she smiled. Awww okay I'm actually really happy that I accepted this not gonna lie. They're hella cute together and I'm happy for the both of them. The thing that does saddens me a bit that I can't do all the things they do. I can't hold Shawn's hand in public, I can't kiss him, I can't even be seen with him in public otherwise my brother would freak out.

"Uhm Amy, you good?" Cindy said snapping me out of my thoughts. I nodded but stayed quiet. I just hope that Jayden will accept us soon.

Jayden is sleeping at home again which means that Shawn and I unfortunately can't see each other till tomorrow aka on my birthday. Yeah I really did say tomorrow. Even though Jayden asked me to avoid Shawn as much as possible he still wanted him to be there since he has never missed one of my birthdays. I'm really happy about that of course but one thing that is bothering me is that Cameron will be there too and he's bringing a guest too..

Okay enough about that I need to relax and don't stress about unnecessary drama. I gently laid my head onto my pillow and closed my eyes for a bit. I stayed there for about 15 minutes and I opened my eyes again. I wanna go for a hike. I got up and put on my sports leggings and sports bra. I grabbed my phone and earphones and went downstairs. I put on my sport shoes and I yelled a quick "I'm going on a hike" and I was out.

God I just realized how much I missed hiking. It's so peaceful and especially when it gets a little darker. The sun was setting and I opened Snapchat and made of photo of the sunset. I sent it to Shawn with the caption

"I love you and I wish you were here❤️"

I know it may sound cheesy but I do really love him and I do wish he was here with me to watch the sunset together. I mean he could come here now but he doesn't have time. He's in a meeting with Andrew and I don't want him to leave the meeting because of me. I looked at the time and saw that it was already past 8 which means that I've been sitting her for like 30 minutes. I got up and walked my way back to my house.

I still had to walk for about 15 minutes to get to my house when a car approached me with full speed. I thought that he didn't see me so I backed up a little just to save myself from getting hit. Usually cars don't come towards you but this one did and I felt numb. I was panicking but I couldn't do anything, it was like my body froze up. The car almost hit me but quickly made a turn back so that it was back on the road.

"Oh my god" I said breathing heavy. That was so scary. The person who did this must know me. I mean cmon you wouldn't want to hit someone you don't know on purpose right?

Who can this person be?
