Chapter 76

Amy's POV:

We were walking to the entrance of the restaurant and I could feel Shawn tense up. He was nervous as hell. I knew it because his hands were a little sweaty, he started walking a little slower and his breathing increased. He's having a panic attack this is not good. He can't go to the meeting like this. I stopped and pulled Shawn with me towards the back of the restaurant where it was dark and peaceful. No one was there luckily.

"What are you doing Amy?" Shawn asked while trying to walk back to the entrance of the restaurant. I grabbed his arm and turned him around so he faced me and I kissed him. Yes I just simply kissed him. Our lips separated and Shawn seemed relaxed.

"What was that for?" Shawn whispered. I giggled and shook my head.

"I've heard that when someone's having a panic attack you simply just have to kiss them and they will relax instantly"

"Was I that obvious?" Shawn groaned.

"Kinda" I laughed. I grabbed Shawn's hand again and looked at him.

"Ready to sign that contract now?" I asked.

"Yes I am" he winked.

We walked to the entrance and our waitress walked us to our table where Andrew and his crew were already waiting for us.

"Hey" Shawn and I both said in unison.

"Hey shawn and Amy, good to see you two" Andrew greeted us excitedly. We hugged and sat down.

We made small talk and went through a few things that had to with the contract and stuff. We ordered our food and ate together obviously. Shawn was still pretty nervous through out the entire meeting and I could just feel how tense and shaky he was. He also bits his lip when he's nervous as well and I honestly was nervous for him too. I mean signing a contract is scary but it will be worth it. I've heard him sing many times and he has a voice like an angel. His voice is absolutely amazing and I know that he will become big and that he will eventually go on tours.

I gently put my hand on Shawn's thigh just to calm him down. He put his left hand on top of my hand and we stayed like that until it was time for us to go to another place where Shawn eventually will sign the contract.

"Welcome to Island Records Shawn Mendes" Andrew said.

Yes he signed the contract and I couldn't be more proud of him. I even let out a few tears out of happiness and Shawn saw it. He walked up to me and lifted me up and hugged me as if his life depended on it.

"I freaking signed it babe oh my god" Shawn said kissing me.

"I know baby I know and I'm super excited for what this has in store for you"

We stayed at the building for a little longer just catching up and celebrating this big achievement. It was getting late and we all agreed to get some rest. We said our goodbyes and walked towards our hotel. We walked on the beach instead of the normal road hand in hand of course when all of a sudden Shawn picked me up and he ran towards the water.

"SHAWN I SWEAR TO GOD" I yelled but it was too late already we were in and he just laughed.

"You piece of-" he cut me off by kissing me. I grabbed the back of his neck and deepened the kiss. His hands went from my waist to my ass and he lifted me up a little more. It got pretty heated but we got cut off by people whistling and clapping.

"GET A ROOM!" Some random people yelled.

"Oh my god.." I said burying my head in the crook of Shawn's neck. He chuckled and walked back to the shore. He put me down and grabbed my hand.

"C'mon let's go baby"

I'm sooooooooooo sorry for not updating in a few days. I've explained it already but for the ones who haven't read my message, I just stared college and I just really wanna focus on school right now. I'm pretty damn busy with everything already and I wanna get good grades obviously so that's why I haven't updated in a long time. I'll try my best but it just doesn't always work out that way. I hope you understand and once again, I'm sorry!
