Chapter 90

Amy's POV:

Previously:
"I kinda lied to you. I-I'm actually uhm- I'm pregnant" I said making them all gasp. Uh oh.

They all looked at us with their eyes and mouth wide open. I'd almost say that they should close their mouth so they wouldn't catch flies but it wasn't the right time. I could feel the tension in this room and none of them spoke making both Shawn and I even more terrified than we already were. We stared at each other and my brother stood up. He walked towards me and Shawn immediately pulled me behind him as if he knew something bad would happen. And it did. He punched Shawn in his jaw making me yell his name.

"Jayden! Stop!" I said as I pulled Shawn behind me this time. I grabbed Shawn's hand in mine showing that I got this.

"Oh and btw I'm embarrassed of you and I'm pretty sure that your parents are too. You're fucking 18 Amy, not 25. I can't even look you in the eyes anymore." Jayden scoffed before walking out the door slamming it shut. Well that's one who already left me. I looked over at my parents and they nodded their heads in disappointment. My eyes got watery and I could barely see anymore. My parents stood up and sighed. I looked down not wanting to look them in the eyes.

"You have been so distant lately and I knew something was up.." my dad sighed.

"I don't even know who you are anymore. I'm sorry" he finished before walking away. I looked at my mom and she shrugged her shoulders.

"I'm sorry" she mouthed before catching up with my dad. My heart broke into a million pieces and I couldn't believe that my own family left me just like that. I need them in this journey. I wanted them to cherish this moment with me and Shawn. Shawn hugged me tight and rubbed my back.

"It's going to be alright babe, I promise." He whispered trying to calm me down but it didn't work. I bursted out in tears and held Shawn tight. What if Shawn will leave me too again? I can't imagine my life without him.

"Please d-don't leave me too" I cried holding his neck. He sushed me and kissed the top of my head.

"I would never leave the most beautiful girl in the world, let alone my own kid." He said holding my bump. I didn't realize that Shawn's parents and Aaliyah were still on the couch until I felt more arms surround my tiny body.

"Hey it's okay ssst" Karen said stroking my hair. I looked up and Shawn wiped away my tears before pecking my lips softly. He grabbed my hand again and made me sit down on the couch. his family followed us and sat down as well but I was still too scared to look them in the eyes. Will they hate me? What will they think of their own son?

"Hey Amy look at me" manny said with a sweet voice. I slowly looked into his eyes and they were just as warm and brown as Shawn's eyes. Woah he looks so much like his dad. I instantly relaxed and I could finally breathe properly again. Karen held my hands and rubbed them with her thumb assuring me that it was alright.

"Look. What happened with your parents is awful. I do understand that they're in shock but this must be really hard on you." He began making me shiver.

"We didn't know that you guys had something going on but we see how much you guys care about each other. Shawn has been so happy lately and I think you're the reason why. No matter if you're pregnant or not with Shawn's baby, we won't leave you guys. We will be there for you and we will help you Amy to get through this okay?" He finished while looking at me. Another year escaped my eyes and I hugged him tight.

"Thank you. Thank you so much" I sobbed. He smiled and wiped away a dry tear. He reminds me so much of Shawn.
Both Karen and Aaliyah hugged me and Aaliyah gave me a high five causing me to slip out a laugh.

"See there we go" Shawn smiled hugging me from behind while kissing my neck. Karen, manny and Aaliyah all smiled and grabbed their jackets.

"Here, call me if you need someone to talk to okay?" Karen said giving me her phone number. I thanked her and they soon left.

Shawn's POV:

Woah I felt more than just bad. I felt absolutely terrible for Amy. I know she was scared to tell her parents but damn I never thought that this would turn into a disaster. Amy is heart broken and there was nothing I could do to get the pieces back together. The only thing I could do was show her the love and attention that she deserves. I'm surprised that my parents were so calm about this but I kinda felt it coming. They've always been so down to earth and they're open for everything no matter how fucked up it is. I'm not saying that this pregnancy is fucked us because I do really wanna become a dad now but the situation isn't really easy you know. I'm glad that they support us and the baby and I saw how happy Aaliyah was when she found out she would become an aunt. Another thing that made my heart flutter was at how sweet and caring my dad was towards Amy. He couldn't have said it better and I'm happy that he sees that she makes me the happiest. We will get through this together. As a team. As parents.

"Hey babe" I said breaking the silence. He head shot up and she was waiting for an answer. I took this opportunity to grab her waist and I immediately crashed my lips against hers. She grabbed my face and deepened the kiss. Our lips separated and the only thing you could hear were the cars outside. I smiled and looked at her.

"I love you" I whispered against her lips. Her eyes softened and she blushed.

"I love you too Shawn Peter Raul Mendes" she said before crashing her lips against mine again.

I'm gonna marry this girl and no one is stopping me. Mark my words
