Chapter 9: The Underworld

Star's P.O.V

I woke up as I rubbed my eyes. I looked out the window to see the sun's brightness. I remember looking out this window every day when me and Marco lived here. So much memories.

I ran downstairs to find everyone watching TV.

"Good morning everyone!"

"Mornin Star." Jackie walked passed me heading to the kitchen.

"Hey babe." Marco kissed my cheek. I smiled at him.

"Morning my love."

Janna wasn't to be seen anywhere so I went outside to find her and Marco Jr playing with Nerf guns.

I called out to the both of them. "Hey guys!"

Janna shot a bullet at Marco Jr and yelled back. "Hey star! Come join us in a game of Nerf War!"

"Oh I'm good I'll watch!"

Marco Jr peeked from a bush and grinned. "Star!"

He ran to me and jumped into my arms. "Star you came to visit me!"

"Of course I did silly!"

I looked at his appearance. He looked so much like Marco. His dark brown hair and tan skin. He even had the mole just like Marco.

"Are you gonna play with us?"

"No sorry I'm not feeling good right now. But you two have fun!"

"We will!" And with that he ran off into a bush and shot Janna's leg. She yelped with pain as she grabbed her gun and shot back. "You're on little man!"

I walked into the living room with Marco and Jackie.

"Hey Jackie."

"Hey Star!"

I sat next to the two. "So are you ready to go to Tom's?"

"Yep let's go. Janna is going to stay here to watch Marco Jr since Mrs. Diaz had to run some errands."

I ran upstairs to get my bell. I haven't used this in a while. I ran back to the living room and rang the bell. I went outside to see Tom appear from fire. He had on shades and a black leather jacket with dark jeans and his black boots. He lifted his shades and eyed me.

"Star?"

I rolled my eyes. I wasn't that happy to see him since I lost total interest in him. He's more of a friend now but nothing else than that. "Hey Tom", I smiled weakly.

"So how's everyone doing! Marco my man what's up!"

Tom fist bumped Marco and laughed. "Hey man long time no see."

He spotted Jackie sitting down so he sat next to her. "Hey boo."

He kissed Jackie's cheek as she kissed back. "Hey monster, what's with the new haircut?"

Tom had his hair and beard trimmed. "Oh well I just wanted to fix it up a little. You like it?"

"Duh!" Jackie playfully hits Tom's back. He playfully shoved her back.

Marco interrupted the two. "Hey sorry to break the fun but there's something serious you and Jackie need to talk about."

"Oh? Let's go back to my place. I can't really stand being here no offense Marco but it freaks me out a little bit."

Tom takes us to his car. We all get in and buckle our seatbelts. I look back at the house unsure of leaving Janna alone with a 4 year old.

"Hey Marco are you sure it's a good idea to leave Janna alone with Marco Jr? I just don't think she's mature enough to watch him, she'll probably cause a disaster knowing her."
