Chapter 7: Jackie's Reveal

Star's P.O.V

I can't believe what I heard. Jackie and Tom are a thing? And I can't believe Janna lied to me.

"Janna why would you lie to me?"

Janna looked at her feet.

"Because you were so happy. I didn't want to ruin your day. I love to see you happy because when you're happy, everyone's happy. I hate to see you sad."

Janna dug her head into her knees and sniffled

"It's ok Janna, you know I'm here if you need to talk to me."

She lifted her head up from her knees.

"But that's the thing. You were never there for me when I needed someone. I have been going through things and I needed someone to talk to. You didn't even thank me for the things I've done for you. I was there for you when you were upset about Marco and Jackie going out. Now that you and Marco are together, you hardly ask me how I'm doing."

She began to cry softly once more.

"Awe Janna I'm so sorry. I never knew how you felt. I didn't even take the time to ask if you needed anything. I feel horrible now."

I reached over Janna and wrapped my arms around her

Janna looked up from her knees. She hugged in return.

"Star?"

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry too for lying."

I smile. "It's ok. I'm sorry for not being there when you needed it."

"How about we stay up for a little bit?"

"Sounds good!"

We sat for at least 2 hours talking about drama, jokes, and what we plan on doing with our lives in the future. It was 2:00 a.m. and I felt sleepy.

"Hey Janna I'm getting tired how bout you?"

Janna rubbed her eyes. "You said it. Hold up I need to take some medication real quick."

"Medication for what?"

"Oh I was recently diagnosed with insomnia. It's really hard to sleep at night and if I don't get sleep I get hallucinations. Pretty scary but I'm doing better now.'

"Oh ok well sleep safe mkay?"

Janna winks. "Gotcha princess."

I lay down on my bed and close my eyes. I mutter to myself.

"Tommorow is a new day."

Sunday 11:30 a.m.

Jackie's P.O.V

I woke up to Janna's voice shouting.

"Wake up Jackie wake up!"

I kicked Janna in her face. "Oh my gosh Janna I'm so sorry!"

Janna grabbed her cheek and grinned. "No no it's good, I was trying to wake you up because we are about to leave!"

"Oh wow did I sleep late or something?"

"Umm, I mean I was up at 7:00. Marco and star got up at 8:45 and now you woke up at 11:00. So yep you did."

I suddenly feel I sharp pain in my stomach. It started to ache.

"Agh, my stomach."

I clutched my stomach and began to gag.

"Jackie what's wrong?"
