Chapter 18

Hey guys. Last chapter was really short I know. Um but another cliffhanger. OH NO APRIL! #prayforapril in this chapter guys. This chapter will be so much longer. Also what sucks for the boys is now they get to spend Christmas eve and maybe christmas in the hospital. I know Nash will be sleeping there. I hope you guys don't cry in this chapter. Ok I won't tell you guys anymore. LOL. #prayforapril.

Um, so Kelly comes into the picture in this chapter. I know I said she was coming in later but I thought this would be cool in this chapter for Cam. KK? KK.

Also I don't know why my book is rated pg-13? lol whatever

Ch. 18

Nash's POV:

The boys and I where pacing around in the waiting room, waiting to know what is happening.

The thing is I know what happened. But I don't know how it happened. I'll just wait till the doctors get more information.

Ugh. Were siting in a Toronto Hospital on christmas eve and she can't get a hold of her parents- oh my god her parents. What are they gonna think when they find out. Shit.

"Family of April Winston." The Nurse called out from behind the door. "Wait, you guys are all family."

"Yes ma'am, April's family is in California, shes been living with us for awhile." It wasn't a complete lie, the boys are family towards her. The doctor nodded and told us to follow her.

"Nash, calm down its gonna be ok." Jack J came up behind me, I think he could sense that I was really tense. "She's not gonna die." He put his hand on my shoulder and I started to calm down more.

"I know. Thank you guys." I turned my head around while I was still walking so I could look at them and they nodded.

We got to a room that was lite up very brightly and there was April laying down, eyes closed on the hospital bed.

"Um Ms. Nurse." I said quielty. "Can you tell us what is going on." Trying not to look at April. The boys all went over to the bed where April was while I stood in my place stil looking at the nurse.

"Well, Nash it looks like she has a couple of broken ribs, and an arm. Could you explain to me how she got them. We are still not sure how this is possible." She said with concern.

"Well the boys were going to do this thing...that we usually do on Christmas eve-" She stopped me in mid sentence.

"Could you tell me what that was?" She said more seriously.

"Well yes, um-" I was cut off again but by Cam this time.

"Nurse this was totally my fault. I had the idea two years ago that on Christmas eve we would go jump in the lake naked." He explained with a shrug. "But Nash wouldn't have it. And I didn't listen to him. So me and the boys decided to left her up. Once we got to the door we heard Nash coming towards us and he tackled us to the ground. I really don't know how she broke her body so much. She landed on Nash and then she rolled off to the marble hard floors....i dont know ma'am." Cam looked up at the doctor, considering he had his head down the whole time. Once he looked up to her he had wide eyes and a big smile on his face. I mean sure she was his age, but this wasn't the time to fall in love.

I cleared my throat and spoke.

"Um ok so yes thats what happened." I sighed and saw Cam walk away towards April with the other boys.
