Ch. 38
April's POV:
After crying last night for what seemed like hours, I woke up with a pounding headache. I took pills but nothing worked, I was pissed at a lot of things which didn't help the headaches.
I looked back and forth throughout the halls and everyone was still asleep. I looked back at Nash, he was stretched out all over the bed. I closed the door behind me, slowly, and walked down the stairs towards the kitchen to get a glass of water. I needed to get better before today. Magcon starts today and that's all I need to think about.
Cameron's POV:
I woke up with a pounding headache wondering what the time was but to lazy to even check. I let go of my laziness and decided to get up and walk down stairs to get a glass of water. Nobody was awake. Which means I needed to wake everyone up before nine. Magcon starts at 1pm.
"Oh. Hey April." Except April. I rubbed my eyes. She turned around and smiled but turned around quickly to finish cleaning? "Why are you cleaning? At..." I check the clock on the oven. "Shit. Six am. Well I guess it's a good thing your awake so you can help me get everyone else up here soon." I laugh and she shrugs. "Look I know you're angry. You have every right to be." She still had her back to me. I walked up to her and put my hand on her shoulder. "I've tried everything ok? You know that right? And so has Nash. We all have done everything we can." She stopped what she was doing and turned to look at me. I took my hand off of her shoulder.
"Well it wasn't enough." She laughed but it wasn't a pleasant one. "And what about the other boys? They all said that they might propose but of course the girls don't know that." She scoffs.
"Well what do you suspect? They aren't suppose to know." Didn't she know that it was a surprise to them or not? I mean no shit.
"Sorry. I knew that. It's just my mind is going crazy. I have less than a week left till I'm-" She puts her hands up and quotes, "Mrs. Grier." Then sighs. "I need too push the wedding back a month maybe." I nodded. I feel for her, and Nash. They both love each other. And it does make me jealous because I am fucking older than him and I haven't even found someone like Nash has and it gets on my nerves.
"Ok. So the other boys, if they get married, they can still go on tour. I know that is so unfair, trust me it makes me want to throw stuff but I can't do anything. But I do know what you can do." He looks up at me and smiles.
"Wait. Before we go ahead that is completely unfair on so many levels." She shakes her head. She lets me go on with the plan so she doesn't have to make another headache by thinking about how unfair that is.
I talk fast before anyone else wakes up so it can be just April and I. We agree on what is going to happen and make no changes. The fans are going to get what's coming for them. And so is management.
