"hey ty?" Josh asked, Tyler humming and looking at him.

they were sitting at Tyler's house on his couch after school Friday with his family, zack and maddy on the other couch and Kelly and chris in their chairs. jay was sitting in Chris's lap also.

Tyler was sitting with his arm around Josh's shoulders and Josh's hand was on Tyler's thigh.

"an old friend from my old school texted me. they wanna meet and get dinner." Josh said, fiddling with his fingers.

"alright, when? do you want me to go?" Tyler asked.

"uhm they wanna do it tonight. and yeah I want you to go but...you should know something." Josh said.

"okay, what?" Tyler asked.

"hes my ex. we dated before I moved." Josh said, Tyler frowning.

"oh.....whyd yall break up?" Tyler asked.

"well we were off and on and when I moved we just didnt text anymore." Josh said.

"soo, he text you today?" Josh asked.

"uh yeah. he told me he was visiting his grandma here and wanted to 'catch up'." Josh shrugged.

"alright yeah. I'll go." Tyler nodded. "time?" Tyler asked.

"7 okay?" Josh said.

Tyler nodded, taking a drink from his water bottle and pulling Josh closer, not sure how to feel.

"so what's this guys name?" Tyler asked, pulling his button up shirt on.

"Alex." Josh said.

Tyler nodded, buttoning his shirt up all the way.

"you look great." Josh said, Tyler smiling.

"so do you, beautiful." Tyler said, kissing him.

Tyler was wearing some blue jeans with a casual yellow button up shirt and his timberland boots, and Josh was wearing some jean's and a black v-neck shirt with some high top all white vans.

"please don't get jealous tonight ty. I'm completely over him. I forgot he even existed till he texted me." Josh said.

"I wont." he smiled. haha bet.

Josh grabbed his phone and handed Tyler his along with his truck keys.

"okay, by mom." Josh said, Laura saying bye back. Tyler got his clothes at his house and then they went to joshs to get dressed and ready.

"have fun." she said, Josh shutting the door.

"so tell me all about this Alex guy." Tyler said, Josh sighing.

"well hes about as tall as brendon and has the same build as him. blonde curly hair. and he uh plays football still I think. also he was rich." Josh nervously chuckled.

"he buy you a lot?" Tyler asked, glancing at Josh.

"yeah he did. thought he could buy me back after cheating on me with the cheer squad. his excuse was always 'Its not cheating cause they're girls. it would've been cheating if they were guys'. I was so fucking stupid. thought I loved him." Josh shook his head.

"fuck him. you sure you wanna go??" Tyler asked.

"yeah. wanna catch up and show him how much hotter my new boyfriend is." Josh smiled.

"he know I'm coming?" Tyler said.

"yeah. he said he was excited to meet you." Josh said.
