the text popped on on Josh's phone, the boy smiling while grabbing his phone and unlocking it.

j: yes, ofc :)

he replied back, standing up from the couch and grabbing his water bottle.

"where you goin?" bill asked, josh pointing to his phone as it started ringing.

"Tyler wanted to talk on the phone." Josh said.

"oh okay, tell him I said hi." he said, turning his attention back to the tv screen after Josh nodded and answered the phone.

"hey baby." josh smiled, shutting his bedroom door.

"hearing your voice makes my day so much better. you have no idea." Tyler replied back, josh blushing. he took his shirt and pants off, climbing under the blankets in his boxers.

"you okay?"

"yeah, I'm just super tired and moms giving me shit for being on my phone all the time."

"so your solution was to get on your phone and call me." josh giggled.

"hey, mom knows I call you every night if we're not together and she respects that. I just called you a little earlier tonight so I think she knows I'm stressed." josh heard Tyler shuffle around, assuming he got under the blankets.

"dad told me to tell you hi." josh said, giggling as Tyler gasped.

"really?!"

"yes sir!"

"maybe he doesnt hate me that much anymore!"

"he doesnt hate you ty." josh said.

"I feel like he does."

"well he doesnt. hes a dad so hes protective over me, that's it. I promise."

"i love you."

"I love you too Tyler." josh blushed.

"well anyways, whatcha doin?"

"well I was watchin tv downstairs and now I'm in my room with the lights off and I'm under my blanket and I'm really comfortable and warm." it was night time so it was dark outside and Josh had all his lights off so I was pitch black besides the occasional light of his phone.

"sounds so relaxing. wish I was there. wanna hold you."

"what are you doing?"

"I just ran myself a steaming hot bubble bath and I also turned off all the lights besides my candle I have lit and I'm just smokin a joint and living life to the fullest." Tyler said, josh giggling loudly.

"you sound so relaxed, I'm happy." Josh said. he knew tyler was stressed. he was too. they had graduation coming up and it's just a lot on them since they're seniors.

"Id feel better if you were here though."

"me too. I would come but I havent been home for a while and I wanna sleep in my own bed and without jordan." Josh giggled. hes been at his grandparents house all week until today (which was thursday) and he just now got home.
