Chapter 15: Leigh's P.O.V.

After I found out I was Conner's sister, i found strength.

I could sing in front of people. I could be what I always wanted.

I wasn't afraid anymore.

"Let's go home." I said after I finished singing my song.

I zipped up my guitar in the case put it on my back, grabbed my songbook, and my bag full of clothes and stuff.

"I can say I have moved once in my life. I guess this is goodbye old house and life, and hello new future." I told Conner.

"Well I'm guessing your last name isn't White." He told me.

"Haha, yeah. I am Leigh Grey." I told him.

"Mom?" I asked.

"Yes?" It was weird to have another mom that was my real mom, that I hadn't know all my life.

"What is my middle name?" I asked.

"Taylor. Leigh Taylor Grey."

"Can you call me Taylor? It's a new future, a new name, a new beginning."

"Yes, Taylor it's a life with new beginnings." My mom told me.

"Do Carrie and Molly know I'm there sister?" I inquired.

"The reason Carrie works at your old school is so she could watch her little sister grow. She knows. Molly, is about to. Our family is at our house now." My dad told me.

"I have siblings. Two sisters and a brother. I never thought that I would have siblings. This is cool, being a Grey. I like it." I told the world.

"I'm glad you do, and by the way Rachel's mom just pulled up."

We were taking my stuff in the car to the house. I got out of the car and ran towards Rachel.

"Rach. I'm going by my middle name Taylor. My name is Taylor Grey." I told her.

"Can your parents meet my mom?" She asked.

"Heck yes!" I said excitedly.

"Mrs. Jess! This is my mom, dad and brother." I told Rachel's mom.

"You have a lovely daughter, and I hope you make mine feel as much as yours. Just like Leigh's-"

"Changed my name to Taylor."

"Excuse me-Taylor's adoptive mom did to Rachel."

"I don't even know where my room is yet, but all I know it that I'm not afraid anymore. I'm a Grey. It's a different life now." I told Rachel.

"It is different." She agreed.
