~Night of Dick's Death~

*loud music*

What can I get you honey? The bartender ask joyfully

A beer. Jason says bluntly

Coming right up! She makes him a beer, walks over to another person at the bar and returns to Jason. Here's four more!

I only asked for one.

You did. From what I see it looks like you got some fans! She says pointing at a table of four men

Jason gets up

Where ya' going? The bartender ask

They want me then they'll have me. Jason smiles finishing his beer

That easy huh? She laughs

Not in the way they want. Jason smirks,walking over to the table. Hey boys! Jason flirts

You look like you need a little loving baby. One of the men assume

Matter of fact, I do! Jason smirks

We can give you some baby. The same man says taking a sip of his beer

Oh really? Jason says raising his eyebrow

Damn right baby! The man smiles

Well, am I gonna just stand here or y'all gonna walk me out? Jason winks

The four men finish their drinks and get up

Damn four at once? The bartender thinks to herself

Suddenly Jason bangs the man's head on a nearby table who flirted with him, and hip tosses another one of them and breaks his arm, he then stares at the other two

Run. Jason says making them run, grabbing the two men on the floor's wallets pulling the money out and dropping them back on them. How chilverous of you? He laughs walking back to the bar

You know I can't allow that in my bar sweet thing? The bartender says watching Jason finish another beer

Why not? Jason laughs

Cops. That's assault baby.

And who's going to tell them? Jason says finishing another beer laying money down. 4 more. She gets him 4 more.

I'm guessing the boys you left running. She laughs

Just then Roy walks in seeing the two bodies on the floor and Jason at the bar

Odd seeing you here Jay, you know what happenend there? The bartender watches while she cleans a glass

Oh them? Just two guys who tried to hit on me. He laughs finishing another beer

You know I'm gonna have to arrest you? Roy laughs

Oh really? Because I believe if you tried you'd end up like them. And I wouldn't wanna hurt that handsome face of yours would I now? Jason ask kissing Roy, Roy doesn't stop he gives in, then Jason releases and drinks his last beer. Looks like I'm empty! You gonna buy me some beers or shall I do it myself? Jason smirks

Roy signals the bartender to make 2 beers. Where were we? Roy smirks

You tell me handsome?

At this point Jason was already drunk, un-able to control what he was doing

~morning after~

*Jason wakes up*

Ugh. Where am I? Jason ask looking around, spotting 2 asprin and a water on the nightstand beside him along with a note. Oh God! He reads the note

" Just as good as you used to be! Last night we got drunk and went to my place. I had to go to work, so here's some things to help you make it through the day. I feel bad messing around with you last night, it was wrong and selfish of me to do that to my partners boyfriend, and it won't be happening again! If you tell Dick, I'm ready to get my ass kicked, again I'm sorry. ~Roy"

Jason then remembers everything that happenend last night, beginning to cry. Dick.

~30 minutes later~

Roy! Jason yells when walking out of the elevator upon the 3rd floor of the Blüdhaven Police Department, causing everyone to stare at him, they all mutter isn't that Grayson's boyfriend, Roy walks out of his office

Jason, what are you doing here?

Jason starts to raise his voice louder. How dare you take advantage of me? He yells walking slowly towards him

Jason, I'm sorry, we were drunk!

Oh yeah. That's right! You know for a detective you're pretty damn bad at your job! All of you are! He screams

What do you mean? Roy ask confused

Dick's dead! He begins to cry. I understand being drunk, but this is a whole different level of asshole!

I'm sorry. Roy says then Jason's right infront of him

Sorry ain't gonna cut it this time! He slaps Roy

The cops gasp, then 2 officers walk over and attempt to cuff him, he resist knocking them both out while keeping his sights on Roy

Jay stop! Before you do something you'll regret!

What could I possibly do that makes my life worse? You ever watch something you love slip away? Never to be seen again, and you didn't even get to say goodbye! He snaps starting to cry waves of tears, falling to the ground, 4 cops try to take advantage and make their way to cuff him but Roy waves them off.

Jason, I didn't know.

Of course you didn't! But I'm sure this is what you wanted! Jason screams

No, you were perfect with him, once I got over my own grief I saw that.

Then why did you take the oppurtunity to sleep with me last night? Jason cries

I...

Excactly! Admit it! Admit you wanted him gone!

I can't.

Why the hell not?

Because I'd be lying.

Cut the crap Roy!

Cassandra walks in and over to Jason

Jason?

Oh fun.

I know, I know. She says calmly

Do you?

Yes, I lost my father. Like you I didn't get a goodbye. It's not the same, I know that. Unlike me, you'll have a friend. She supports him

Who would that be? A wall! A pillow! He cries

Me. I can help you. If you'll let me? She offers out her hand

Why should I?

What would Dick do if it was you?

Jason cries more realizing she was right. He would... He would accept the help.

Good. Let's get you out of here.

Jason doesn't respond, he gets up gives Roy a dirty look, and leaves with Cassandra.

A/N: ooh we started this book off with a big bang lol. I hope you all enjoyed this, I also want to tell you that the updates for this book will be a little less frequent than last books because I'm going back into school next week but I will not stop writing and will update as much as I possibly can.
