~ Paige's POV ~
1 week later
I was finally able to leave that horrible place I call a hospital. I had always hated hospitals and I knew that I would forever hate them. A week before when Vic had told me that he wouldn't leave my side, I thought he was exagerting but I was wrong, he didn't leave the hospital at all while I was there. While I was in the hospital, Mike, Mrs. Fuentes, and Mr. Fuentes came to visit me, and let's just say, it was nice having them around, they really cheered me up. Vic had signed the release papers and some papers about keeping an eye on me and making sure I don't hurt myself, wow, I forgot that Vic is eighteen, I'm only sixteen.
Vic and I were sitting in my hospital room, talking about his band, it brought a huge smile to his face. I loved the way his face lit up when he was talking about music, or the band, or anything like that really. We were waiting for Sally to bring me a tee and skinny jeans.
"So Vic, have you guys had any big gigs yet?" I asked him.
"Not yet, but we have one in a couple weeks and it could be our big break!" He said all excitedly.
"I'm so happy for you guys! I better be the first person to wear your merch!" I exclaimed.
"Well of course, we actually have some ideas that I wanted you to see." He smiled as he pulled out his phone.
He showed me a couple pictures of drawings him and the other boys made. They were really cool and I was excited for when they actually got made into shirts so I could wear them. "Wow Vic, these are amazing and I'm jealous that you guys can draw better than I can." I told Vic.
Vic stuck his tongue out at me, "Be jealous! I have to be talented at something!"
"You can sing like a freaking angel! Don't give me that!"
"So you think I sing like an angel, huh?" He smirked at me, causing me to blush a little.
I should probably explain now before you get confused, I had a small crush on Vic, like when your in school and there's that one guy that everyone finds hot and wants to date them but know that they don't all at the same time, that's how I felt about Vic at the moment. I didn't like him enough to actually date him if it came down to it though, but he was my type. He was super funny, sweet, kind, and amazing. He had sung me a couple songs he wrote, one apparently was for me. His voice was amazing and I knew he was going to make it far, him and the band.
"Yes I do,your voice is amazing and I love when you sing." I smiled at him and he gave me a crooked smile in return.
"Thank you," He replied shyly as he scratched the back of his neck.
There was a sudden awkward silence that filled the room, something that hadn't happened in a while because it wasn't as awkward around Vic anymore, which I was thankful for because it was beginning to drive me crazy.
"Vic," I finally spoke up.
"Yeah?" He replied as he looked into my eyes.
"Why do you still love me? I completely forgot about you because I got brain damage, I tried to kill myself even though I knew you'd be hurt, I broke two promises that I made to you, and I caused you pain and hurt..." I trailed off.
