Reiji Sakamaki
After I had shown the Tsukinami brothers to their room, I did my rounds around the house to make sure that the alchemist was not wandering or finding himself lost. Before I finished, I heard something fall behind me, so I turned around to see an ancient chemistry textbook lying on the ground.
"Reveal yourself, Mother," I ordered and turned back around to continue my route through the mansion. "Very well, ignore me as you always did, Beatrix," I said as I felt her presence disappear and sensed the auras of my two youngest brothers in the game room.
I entered the room and took a blanket from the closet. I covered up my brothers with the blanket and brushed my fingers through Subaru's hair.
"Reiji?" Subaru's eyes fluttered open and he yawned.
I shook my head at him. "Go back to sleep, Subaru. He is gone and everyone is safe." I sighed and left the room. "Sleep well."
I knew that the appearance of the alchemist, the First Bloods, and Karlheinz warranted some strategizing between Shuu and I. So after I had locked all the doors and closed all the windows, I walked through the many hallways and up the flights of stairs that led to the master's suite that Shuu resides in.
I knocked politely on the deadbeat's door and waited for an answer that I knew would not come. Since I knew that he would not acknowledge me, I quietly opened the door.
"Excuse me," I said, apologizing for my rudeness by entering Shuu's room without permission.
My older brother's room was immaculate despite his usual laziness. However, there was one imperfection. The balcony doors were wide open, and the drapes were flowing in the wind. I knew that he left this imperfection to tell me where he would be and that he was expecting me.
"Alright, then..." I sighed to myself, walking out onto the balcony and leaning over the banister. I ran my ungloved left hand through my hair and took my glasses off, cleaning them with my handkerchief.
"It's about time..." Shuu's breathed into my ear as he snaked his arm around my waist. He pressed his lips to my jugular vein and just as he was about to dig his fangs into me, I turned around to look him in the eye.
"I did not come here so that you could have your fun," I said, unfeelingly, and forced my features to stay neutral.
The deadbeat had the gall to lick my neck despite my protest. "You have always been the quintessential one of us, Reiji..."
"We have more important things to discuss," I deadpanned and pushed past him.
"How bothersome..." Shuu teleported onto the chaise lounge in his room. "Go ahead," he said and removed his iPod Nano choker and earbuds.
I shook my head, heading into the good-for-nothing's room and closing and locking the balcony doors behind me. I used my telekinesis to send my glasses back to my laboratory and sat on the chaise lounge next to Shuu's legs.
"The appearance of a first-generation alchemist, even with a warning from father, is truly unprecedented," I stated, genuinely perplexed.
"You and I both know that the extent of that man's mystical power is incalculable," Shuu told me, placing his feet in my lap, "as well as unpredictable."
"I know, but despite that unavoidable fact, we must determine what father intends on accomplishing with his little school." My mind was moving too fast through all of the incomparable actions that our father may or may not take to keep his plan in motion. My hands began to shake, and my breathing became erratic as I began to realize the severity of the situation.
"...ji...iji...eiji...Reiji!" Shuu exclaimed, grabbing me by the face and pulled me over him, pressing my forehead to his. "Look at me! Look into my eyes!" He ordered.
My eyes shot to his unyielding sapphire orbs that burned hotter than the blue flames of the River Styx. His flames could melt even the coldest ice, even the ice in my veins. The next patriarch of the Sakamaki family was not one to ignore the emotions of those around him, especially not those of his mates. He may seem negligent to any outsider, but Shuu's power stems from his quiet surveillance of his surroundings and the heat of his gaze. His is such a gaze that has no rival, not even that of the First Blood King's. My breathing slowed as I gradually lost myself in the depths of those oceanic eyes.
Shuu pulled my right hand between us and tore my glove off to reveal my azure blood seal. He brought my hand up to his left cheek, pressing it to his face, and nuzzling it. My seal began to heat up as it responded to Shuu's proximity.
"You and I both know that whatever you think he is going to do is not going to happen," my elder brother paused to kiss my palm chastely. "We cannot predict what Karlheinz will do... As much as it pains me to say this, we must lie in wait and just do as he asks for now," he sighed with anguish.
Shuu shook his head, flipped us over so that his hips were pressed against mine, and smirked at me with malevolence. "Now that we have finished our discussion, maybe I can have my fun, hmmm?"
I bared my fangs goading him to make the next move in our fight for dominance. Shuu responded immediately by latching on to my left collarbone. His fangs broke my skin instantaneously and he drank me in with vigor. I growled aggressively and threw him off of me and onto the floor before he could completely sate his thirst.
"Did you think I would just roll over for you, Deadbeat?" I challenged and stood above his prone body with sadistic intent. I removed my tie as Shuu got up from the floor and backed away slowly. "You should know better by now~."
I smirked maliciously while I stalked towards him, stretching my tie out with both hands. For every step I took towards him, Shuu took one step back until his knees hit the foot of the bed and he fell backward onto it.
Shuu glared at me warningly as I straddled his lap and flicked my tie over his head and around his neck. I pulled his face towards mine with the tie, licking my lips sadistically. Shuu growled as I used the tie to restrain his arms behind his back and pinned him to the bed.
"I know you are not one to take charge in any situation; so, I suppose I shall do it for you once again," I smirked, tilting my head back and to the left.
I ripped his sweater off and tore his pants in half, throwing their tattered remains on the floor and pushing Shuu down on the bed. I began to kiss up his navel, nibbling sporadically, while Shuu struggled. He was trying to tear himself out of his restraints, oblivious to the fact that my tie was laced with alchemic silver, one of the few things that can stop a demon.
When my elder brother finally realized that resistance was futile, he snarled at me. "Release me at once, Reiji," Shuu ordered, going still when I chuckled, darkly.
"I finally got you into this situation," I said, scraping my fangs along his neck. "Do you think that I'd let you go now?" I sank my fangs into his left pectoral and gulped down his blood hungrily.
Shuu sighed. "Greedy, aren't you?" He asked and approvingly puffed out his chest.
I dug my fangs deeper into his chest as he shivered with excitement. Purring, I ripped my fangs out of him taking a small chunk of flesh from his pectoral. Shuu growled lowly and sat upright aggressively, which forced me onto my back. He grew out his claws and tore through his restraints.
Shuu grabbed me by the throat, digging his claws into me. Rivulets of blood ran down my chest and Shuu flipped us over, pinning me under him.
"Stop goading me, Reiji," whispered Shuu. "Get on with it already." He released me, tore off my clothes, and rolled off of me. "I'm bored."
I snapped and leaped on top of him, seething with rage. "How dare you!" I hissed and sank my hand into his gorgeous blond locks. I laughed maniacally. "You are about to experience what it feels like when I finally let go..."
Shuu's pupils turned to slits as he glared up at me. "Bring it on, little brother..."
