Percy, his family and their newly acquired army set out from the now burning city. Families also fled with them but when they found out the plan they left the army knowing it was no place for women and children who could not fight. 

Percy and his family stolen some horses and marched for hours leaving the city far behind, Percy looked back to his brothers. "Jason, Nico go tell the soliders that they have till the morning to pick a commander and four lieutenants to voice their concerns to us, also tell them that we are staying here for the night and to set up camp. After the camp is set up tell everyone to come to the front I want to talk to them." 

"Sounds good Perce." Jason said as they traveled back to the army column to spread the news.

"If you are going to be talking them in a couple hours why get Jason and Nico to do that?" Thalia asked. 

Percy smirked. "I got to show them that I am good on my promise." 

After a couple hours, the camp was set up and the army was assembled.  Percy stood with the loyalty stick in his hand, Rationem stood beside him. 

"I promised each and everyone of you that we would be equal, and that is true as you have heard I want five of you to be our advisers, you all will pick them through voting.  My word is my bond. The Master's used this stick as their way to ensure your loyalty. But I have said before and I will say it again." Percy said as he snapped the stick before throwing it in a fire as he continued on. "Respect is earned, honesty is appreciated, trust is gained and loyalty is returned. Fight for me and I will fight for you, betray me and it will be the last thing you do. My family are the leaders. Two of them are girls, they have been fighting all their lives so if they give you an order, follow it. I am hopeful for our future and cannot wait to fight for it!"  

The army roared their approval. 

"Tomorrow we free more slaves in Meereen! Rest well for tomorrow starts the beginning of your lives!" 

~The next morning~

Percy was up all night, making sure the camp was secure. It showed, bags were clearly visible under his eyes. He was staring at  map of the area figuring what the best way to attack was in his tent, he heard a knock on the post he grunted his permission to come in. Zoe, Thalia, Jason and Nico walked in with five of the soliders. 

Percy smiled in greeting. "Hello so you were the ones chosen to be the leaders, that is good. May I know your names as you already know mine." 

One stepped forward his head was freshly shaved. "I am Grey worm. These are my brothers, Slug, Spit, Mud and Fungus." 

Percy and his family shared a look. "Why those names?" 

Grey worm looked at him and shrugged. "It was for the Masters to show us that we are nothing and not even worthy of the time they gave us." 

Percy scowled. "If you wish, you and your brothers can choose another name." 

Grey worm and his brothers shared a look till Grey worm looked at Percy. "No thank you Master Percy we will make these names our own and make them better." 

Percy nodded but looked at Grey worm seriously. "No master stuff, I may lead this army with you but I am just a man like you five, like our army. Your jobs are to report to me the soldiers moral and any concerns they have." 

Grey worm and his soldiers looked at Percy with awe. "You are serious about us being equals aren't you?" 

Percy raised an eyebrow at his new colleague. "Yes, where I am from we have blood brothers, I would like you to be one of mine Grey worm, that way you know I will never hold anything back from you." 

Grey worm looked at his feet in thought before looking up at Percy with determination in his brown eyes. "It would be an honour to be your blood brother Percy." 

Percy smiled before taking a small dagger and slashed his palm open before handing the knife to Grey worm who did the same. "Now what?" Grey worm asked curiously as he bled. 

Percy stuck out his hand as Grey worm took it, their blood mixing.  Percy smiled as he handed Grey worm a cloth. "Welcome to the family Grey." 

Grey worm smiled as he put pressure on his wound. "Thank you brother Percy." 

"Alright now that is done are you all ready to hear the plan to take down Meereen?" Percy asked. 

They huddled around a map as Percy explained his plan, it was a perfectly sound plan not even Thalia or Zoe chimed in which mildly surprised the people that knew them as they always had something to say to Percy about his less than steller plans. But they knew judging by the way Percy was looking it wasn't the time to question him. 

"Alright guys this is it, Grey worm and the rest tell the soldiers to get ready to march. I want you to also tell them to get together and get a watch going." 

"Sounds good Percy." Grey worm said as he and the rest left except for Zoe who lingered back. 

Percy raised an eyebrow as Zoe studied the map. 

"Question Zoe?" Percy asked. 

"You look like shit." Zoe replied. 

Percy chuckled. "And there goes the ego. But I doubt you wanted to stay back and talk about my  looks." 

Zoe looked up into the sea green eyes of Percy, she remembered the first time she met him and how determined he was to find his friend, so determined in fact he went toe to toe with the Titan that captured her and literally held up the sky when he knew he wasn't strong enough to defeat the Titan. His green eyes than shown with determination and fear but now just gazing into his eyes she saw something that she couldn't quite understand for a minute but than she figured it out. It was his will to kill anyone standing in his way. 

"No, I just wanted to make sure you were OK, you are just making me a little uneasy is all." 

"I promise Zoe, nothing is going on. I just want to end Olympus once and for all." Percy replied before Zoe gave him a hug before leaving the tent.
