Quote of the Chapter

"It gives me strength to have somebody to fight for; I can never fight for myself, but, for others, I can kill."

Percy looked around his surrounding seemed familiar, he than realised he was back at camp half-blood, but it wasn't the camp half-blood he grew up in. It was leveled, only the big house remained but this time it had a sea green roof. Confused Percy walked through the door where he was tackled by two children , both of them had black hair  like him, one was a boy and the other a girl. The boy had sea green eyes and the other obsidian.

They tugged on his sleeves giggling as they lead him deeper in the house.

"Mommy daddy is home!" The boy shouted but as soon as he stepped into the kitchen area the scene changed. The walls were slick with blood, the young boy and girl were hanging by their neck with a woman in the middle, stab wounds in the swollen belly of the woman. Percy dropped to his knees as he realised who that woman was. Before him was none other than Zoe Nightshade.

Percy woke up startled his breathing uneven as he woke up early and had a quick bite to eat, giving some meat to satisfy the rapidly growing dragon. He sat there for a couple hours before Jason and Nico rose and had some food as well before meeting the girls on the hall, they were met by Hylm and two guards, they started walking around the city.

"The soldiers are raised from the age of seven trained to steal, fight and kill. Anything they can possibly do to survive. It is a long ten year training session, but by the end the soldiers will do anything their master will command them to do." Hylm said proudly, Thalia and Zoe hid their looks of disgust well as they continued on through the city taking in the sites before a rancid smell filled the noses of everyone present making their faces scrunch up in disgust all except Hylm and his colleagues.

"What is that smell?" Thalia asked as she gagged a bit but the question was answered immediately after she asked that, as when they turned the corner they saw a girl no older than fifteen crucified, her blonde hair matted to her forehead with dirt, sweat and blood. Half of her body was covered in flies eating the rotten flesh.

"What were her crimes?" Zoe demanded.

Hylm shrugged. "For not obeying her masters orders."

Zoe shook in fury before a deep threatening voice stopped her and Thalia from drawing their bows.

"That is enough Nightshade, Storm. We are guests and these are their customs. If you can't handle this than leave and we can finish the tour."

Zoe and Thalia glared at Percy but he glared harder and they looked away before gritting their teeth and nodding.

The continued the rest of the tour where they came to a massive courtyard, in it were about eighteen thousand troops.

"Do you mind if my brother's head to our room to grab our money and we can complete our business?" Perseus asked.

"No please I encourage it." Hylm responded pleasantly, Percy nodded and Jason, Nico took their leave.

"So if I may ask what do you plan on using our soldiers?" Hylm asked.

Percy looked the man in his eyes, the coldness that the son of Hades showed  him surprised the man who smiled nervously and said. "Never mind."

Everyone sat in awkward silence  for a moment until Nico and Jason returned carrying a chest and leading a dragon on a leash.

"What is that?" Hylm exclaimed as his soldiers reached for their swords.

"Our payment, for all of your soldiers. Which were how many again?" Percy said with a sadistic smirk on his face.

"We have thirty two thousand troops available and another eighteen thousand in reserve." Hylm stuttered.

"I will take them all." Percy replied coolly.

Hylm snapped out of his funk. "Even with the dragon, it is not worth fifty thousand troops!"

Percy sighed and gestured his brothers forward, Jason and Nico dropped the chest and opened it, priceless jewels spilled over the sides.

"The estimated value is four billion. I am sure that is enough, the dragon is my friend and we will not part paths." Percy responded.

Hylm glanced at his cronies and started whispering with them, before turning back to Percy with a nervous smile.

"It is a generous offer lord Nick, but if I may be so bold. Could we take only two million worth of jewels and the dragon?"

Percy sat in silence for a minute. "Fine, what is the harm? Give him the leash."

Hylm tentatively took the leash before handing Jason a rod, it was about ten inches long with black and red markings on it. Jason than handed this to Percy who raised an eyebrow to Hylm.

"It is the stick of Loyalty, the soldiers follow the orders of who ever hold the stick without question." Hylm explained.

Percy nodded and stood in front of his new army.

"Soldiers!" Percy yelled, the army snapped to attention. "Take two steps forward." The solders obeyed.  "Kneel!"

Percy smirked at his new army kneeling. "Soldiers, stand! Look to your brothers on your right than on your left. You have a choice right now, my offer is simple! You can walk right now through those gates and never return live a life of peace and happiness!  Or you can do what you were bred to do. Give me your loyalty and it shall be returned! This will be an army of equals we will take Mount Olympus and destroy the gods! You have one minute to decide." Percy yelled his voice echoing over the courtyard.

"Wait what did you say?" Hylm asked as he heard Percy for the first time.

Percy ignored him and after a minute passed and no soldiers moved he nodded. "Your first task is to kill the Masters!"

The soldiers moved with purpose, the thoughts of being equal was a chance they were not about to pass up. The slaughtered their old masters with out even a hint of recognition in their eyes, the cries of mercy fell upon deaf ears.

"What are you doing?" Hylm screamed.

"Surprise." Percy said with a sadistic smile on his face. "Rationem! Ignis!"

The last thing Hylm saw was a flash of fire before his entire body crumpled into dust and blew away in the wind.

~Meanwhile on Olympus~

The sounds of Olympus were usually filled with music and soft laughter from the nymphs but now only screams of pain could be heard as one of the newest Olympians was giving birth. After hours of the screams they finally stopped, Zeus burst into the room and looked at his newest son. He had a tuff of blond hair and when the child opened his eyes he had one sky blue eye and the other was grey.

The Fates appeared but they looked upset, but it was their job to announce the newest god its domains.

"All hail Odite son of Zeus, god of Hate, jealousy and warfare."
