Rush (HAYES GRIER FANFIC)

Beach Volleyball

We walked into the hotel lobby and the manager instantly hated us cause we were loud and obnoxious. Chad said me and Victoria had our own room seperatly from the guys, they had to share two rooms.

I could tell Hayes was sad about it.

"I wanted to room with Victoria!!!!" Matt said.

Vic blushed and we grabbed our bags and went up to our room. it was right in the same hall as the boys room. We went into our room and Victoria grabbed me by the shoulders.

"Matt and I had so much fun on the plane! I think he really likes me!!

"I knew he would you're awesome!!"

Just then Nash walked into the room.

"knock much?" I asked.

"Nope! Hey we are all going to go to the beach to play volleyball c'mon! "

We put on our pink and blue bikinis and went into one of the guys rooms. We walked in and saw Hayes grabbing some sun glasses. He. Had. Abs. I had never. noticed before, but I did now!

We got to the beach as the sun was setting.

Everyone tried to get me or Victoria on their teams because we were both amazing volleyball players.

We played a close game but never knew who won because we started to mess around with glow sticks in the dark.

We splashed around in the water and Carter spilled the inside of a glow stick into the sea. We all watched it swirl around and realized it was getting late. As everyone started towards the car Hayes and I stood in the swirling green lights in the water.

Hayes looked up at me for a long time. I could see the sand in his hair from the light of the glowstick around his neck.

He handed me a small sea shell that was shaped like a heart. He kissed me on the forehead and embraced me in his arms. He smelled like the sea. I could feel the muscles in his arms around me and his hands there locked together against my back as if he would never let go.

Without saying a word he let go kissing me once more on the cheek and picking up the volleyball. I jumped on his back and we ran back to the others leaving a trail of glowing green. footprints in the sand behind us.
