when I woke up the next morning Matthew and Hayes had gone for a walk. Victoria and I made a fire and sat next to it for a while when a deer pranced by. Instantly we thought food but it ran away when it heard Matte blood curddling scream.

Vic and I jumped to our feet everyone emerged and ran in the direction of the scream it was hard for my knee to keep running.

"Why didn't Hayes scream?!" I thought.

We turned the corner and saw Matt waving a huge stick at a extremely large dog. A wolf. Everyone ran to assist Matt but I only stood there and scanned the area for Hayes. I saw a mangled body a few feet away and ran to him.

Hayes had had his stomach clawed open along with his uper left arm. He had a deep bite mark in his calf and there was blood everywhere. I checked for a pulse but could only feel my own throughout my entire body.

I started screaming until my throat burned and heard a loud pulsing noise in the distance and everything went black.
