Rush (HAYES GRIER FANFIC)

Surviving Day 1

I told Victoria I would explain at lunch and went to class. I walked in to my science class and Hayes was sitting at a partner table by himself watching the door. He motioned for me to come sit next to him so I shuffled over there and sat down.

The teacher announced that who we were sitting by we're going to be our partners for the rest of the year. I think I was going to like this class. Besides the death glares I got from the other girls.

We got assigned to do a project on anything we wanted, so hayes and I exchanged numbers so we could work on it outside of class.

I couldn't believe what was happening.

During lunch we drove to Victorias house. It was a huge house right next to mine. Both of our parents where very wealthy and good friends. But they were both gone a lot and we are only child's so we hung out. A LOT!

I explained everything to her and we both couldn't stop screaming!!

After lunch I went to the rest of my classes I had a few with Victoria and my last class, physical anatomy, with hayes. We had to take a bus to get to a special building for that class and we laughed and played bingo the whole time. I got butterflies every time he looked at me. Or spoke to me. Or anytime out bodies touched.

After school I did my homework and layed in bed waiting to wake up from a dream I thought I was in.

My phone buzzed and it was a text from hayes. It read "I like you. Were going to be best friends. Okay?"

I starred at my phone for a while before typing back.

"Sounds great 😄"

I didn't sleep once all night long.
