My Best Friend

I practically ran to science the next day. Hayes wasn't there yet so I waited acting like I was busy. He walked and sat next to me. Resting his elbow on the table with his head in his hand he smiled up at me.

"What?!" I asked giggly.

"Oh nothing..." he continued smiling.

We decided to do our project on the ocean waves and the moon and how they effect each other. We wrote down the information and messed around the rest of the period talking about social media and how funny the teacher looked.

I sat with Victoria at lunch and all of the sudden Hayes sat next to me.

"Friends sit next to each other at lunch Zoey. gosh! who is this?" He asked gesturing to victoria.

"This is my GIRL best friend Victoria." I said.

They both said hi and we all ate lunch together.

Victoria and I were watching a scary movie at my house later that night when Hayes called.

"Hello?"
"Hey Zoey!"
"Hi Hayes!"
"So I was thinking we should go to the beach tomorrow night for our science project...."
"Ok. sounds great!"
"I'll pick you up at 8:30 pm tomorrow! bye Zoe!
"Bye!"

I looked at Victoria. "Dude. hayes and I are going to the beach tomorrow night for science crap!"

"Awesome! do you think he can introduce me to Matt??" Matthew Espinosa was Victorias favorite viner and Hayes had actually toured with him and a lot of other viners a while ago.

"That would be so cool!" I exclaimed!

Later that night I was on my phone. Shocker. And went to check twitter. I had 2,794 new followers!!

Got tags and messages of me and hayes hanging out at school from tons of people!! I got messages asking if we were dating, that we were cute, hate mail, and even a death threat!

Hayes being my friend was a little rougher than I thought!
