Our Never Ending Love..// Sam Pottorff

Chapter 5

Laila's POV

"Laila you look like you haven't slept in months... why do you have two black eyes?" he asked very concerned.

"Like it concerns you... give me my damn glasses...NOW" I guess I could have been alot nicer, but these days, its like I can't control my anger. Ricky handed me my glasses and I walked away.

Not really sure what to do I decieded it would be best if I leave, turning my car on, I drove away a bit over dramatically. I ended up at the beach, taking a walk to clear my mind. I probably cried 5 or 6 times, but I think I was in my right mind set now. Wanting to watch the sunset, I sat down and put my ear buds in. I lied down, looking at the sky.

Sams POV

"Whats up with her?" I pulled Lex off to the side to get to the bottom of this.

"Adrian cheated on her, and she's been a huge wreck since... She's been crying and instead of just puffy eyes they turn purple and extra puffy." she explained quietly.

"Should we go try and find her?"

"No she'll just go home and cry probably, don't wanna be there while thats happening, lets just forget it happened, I'll deal with it when I get home." Alexis seemed like a genuine sister, like she really cared and knew how to take care of her sister.

We finished our lunch and went back to Lex's house. Laila wasn't there, but she texted Lex telling her she was at th beach and not to worry or bother her. We waited around until she got home looking like she was about to fall asleep. Jc and I walked her up to her room and shut the door and left.

NEXT DAY****

Im guessing we must have all fell asleep at Lex and Laila's, because we all woke up in their living room. Once everyone woke up we all got some breakfest and went to the mall.

Laila's POV

I got home around 9 last night. But I don't remember actullay getting home. All I know is I drove my car (half asleep) and knocked out the minute I hit the bed. I didn't even change my clothes or shower. Gross. I rolled out of bed and strolled to the shower. I saw a note from Alexis on my mirror:

Took a cab to the mall, meet me if you'd like. - Alexis

I decieded to take her up on her offer and got ready. I finished my shower, blow dryed my hair, and put my normal makeup on. I put some white shorts and a denim button down on. I threw my hair in a bun with a bun wrap, again, and put some sunglasses on. I grabbed some money out of my money jar and went on my way.

I called Lex, "Hey."

"Hey you gunna meet me here or what?"

"Ya I'm on my way, be there in 10!"

"Okay, well call me when you get here."

"Okie dokie." We hung up and I drove to the mall. School starts Monday and I haven't picked up any supplies what so ever. I needed new clothes too, but don't know what to get exactly.

Pulling into a parking space, beeping my car, I met up with Lex... and her new friends, Perfect. "Hey L, ready to shop till we drop?!" she chimes in excitedly. I nodded slightly and continued to walk next to her. Next thing I know I bump into a tall framed boy and he turns around. I see it just Sam and continue to walk around him. He runs up behind, grabs my hand, and pulls me into the other direction from the group.

"Dude! What is you problem!?" I pulled my hand away roughly.

"What? Look, I'm sorry you and Adian b-"

"Adrian." I corrected.

"Whatever, but he's a jerk and he doesn't deserve a girl like you. I know I've only known you for a few days, but you are the most amazing girl I've ever met." Shocked by what im hearing, not knowing the silly/jerk Sam could be nice or complement some one.

"Sam... I-I uhhh, thank you?" I asked unsure.

"Let's just continue like nothing happened, I didn't mean to get all mushy and girly" he blushes.

"Okay." I simply say. As we begin walking he wraps his arm around my shoulders, I look up at him,

"Hey Sam.."

"Yeah?" he askes. "You know any girl would be lucky to have to have you too." I blush and he smiles. We meet up with the rest of the group and we all walk together. I don't know what it was about sam and I but we were really close and touchy/feely. I wasn't sure if I wanted him to stop or not.

Am I falling for Sam?

I hope she is. So guys I'm going to be doing double updates until I get some reads and from there my work will get better. After some reads maybe triple updates.
