Adrian and Christian left yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. After everything he told me, that he slept with a different girl a couple of weeks after I left? Who does that? After two years of being together, I feel so broken and betrayed."L... open up its just me." Lex said quietly through the door. "Come in, it's open"
"Laila I'm going to meet up with some friends I met at the airport yesterday... W-wanna come, please you need to get out of this house." She says sweetly.
"It's only been two day Alexis! You guys swear like I haven't left this house months! Just leave me alone!" I bit back. She looked taken back at my sudden harsh tone, nodded and left the room. Feeling bad about my actions, I chased her down the stairs, "Lex I'm sorry..." I pulled her into a hug and broke down.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you. I'm sorry that I wasn't a better girlfriend to Adrian, that I didn't take care of him enough so he felt like he needed attention from other girls..." she was holding me, trying to calm me down.
"Laila don't say that! It's his fault that he cheated, not yours what could you do from 1,000 miles away? NOTHING! And you did take care of him you paid for a plane ticket for him to come down here."
"I guess your right... I just-"
"Not another word, go get ready we are leaving in 20 minutes!" I nodded and went to the shower. I cried my eyes out, but managed to make it through the shower without having an anxiety attack.
*****Flashback*****
When I was younger I lost my dog, Kofi, I cried for days on end. One day I heard about dog down the street getting ran over, and automatically thought I could have been him. I ran inside in search of my mom, I ran into her arms crying. But this time felt different and I could breath, the room started to get really hot. I didn't know what was happening, mom said I passed out after that. The only thing I remember was awaking up in a hospital. They thought my asthma had come back, but the diagnosed me with anxiety.
Ever since then I have about two or three a year. The worst one had to be when my grandma died. I woke up one morning to hear my mom crying on the phone with my dad, telling his mom had died. That moment was the worst. I had about two more after that but kept them calm after that.
**** End of flashback****
I put my hair in a bun. I grabbed an oversized sweater and some light washed shorts. For makeup I just put some foundation and white eyeliner to brighten them up. "Laila! Hurry up I'm late!"
"That's why I told you to leave, but you never listen... But I'm ready." Walking to my room I grabbed my sunglasses and a cross over purse. "Let's go!" I said a bit bubbly.
"Where am I going?" I ask Lex.
"I told them to meet us at the garden..." pulling into the parking lot I see it's pretty crowded. I pull up into the nearest space and get out. "How do you know these people?" I ask "Ummm..... I met them at the airport yesterday when I took the boys. They were picking up their friends." Walking into the restaurant, "Alexis! Over here" I see a tall boy waving his and in the air. "Oh look there's Kian, lets go" the boy looked so familiar, but couldn't put my finger on it.
"Hey guys! This is my sister L-"
"Laila? Right." The boy with the rosie cheeks said.
"Uh Sam?" I asked a bit unsure.
"Wait you know each other? How?" Everyone chimes in.
"Yeah I bumped into her at the mall. Made her drop all of her stuff." I sat down across from him and next to Alexis.
"Well girls let me properly introduce everyone... this is Jc Caylen, Ricky Dillon, Trevor Moran, Connor Franta, I'm Kian Lawley, and he's Sam Pottorff" we all said hello introduced ourselves and ordered our food and drinks.
"Hey those glasses are quite dark, we are inside...soo" Sam says smoothly. "I'm okay." He whispers in Trevor's and Trevor to Jc. One moment to the next, my glasses are ripped of my face and Sam's facial expression had changed.-
