Our Never Ending Love..// Sam Pottorff

Chapter 8

Laila's POV****

Sam took me to In N Out burger for dinner. We are now walking around the city drinking milkshakes and eating fries. I loved this, I love this city. But we start school on Monday, I'm so nervous. All of us are in our senior year, well except Alexis and Trevor. Little Trevor doesn't go to school with us, he lives with his mom at home.

"Wanna head home now, I don't want to worry your parents." he asks, what a gentlemen. I nod, but inside I really didn't want to go home. I want to stay and see more the city before we go back to school and lose our lives. We get back to the car, I let Sam drive, that away I can rest my feet. "Hey Sam do you have your own car? I see everybody always driving you around." wow that was random, but he just laughs.

"Yes L, I have a truck. It's in the shop getting serviced before school starts."

"Oh... What kind of truck do you have?" I ask in curiosity.

"Umm... it's a black Cadillac EX, My mom bought it for me when I first got my license. After that she let Kian and I move in together." he's so cute when he explains things. The way his lips move and shape, it's just so attractive. OMG Laila stop.

He pulls into my and walks me to my door. It felt like some cliché movie. "L, I'm glad I have a new best friend." He smiles.

"Awwww, Sammy I'm happy I have a new best friend too!" He laughs. "No silly, I'm talking about Alexis." My smile turns into a frown.

"JUST KIDDING!" I swat his arm.  Then he picks me up by the wait and spins me.

"AHHH Sam put me down!!!" He obliges and puts me down, he keeps his eyes locked on mine. Then the go back and forth from my lips back to my eyes. I dent want things to go too far so I say goodnight and go inside.

When I shut the quietly and see Alexis staring out the window. "Ahem... anything interesting out there?" I say with an eyebrow.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! THAT WAS SO CUTE!!!!!!! HE WAS GOING TO KISS YOU L!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" She blows out my ear drum.

"What's all the screaming about?" my parents and Kian run into the room. Wait, what is Kian doing here. He left when Sam and I left. Did he come back? Awwww.

"Sorry, I just saw a spider and L killed it for me." she's such a liar. My parents leave the room and I give them the look, "Couch... NOW!" I demanded.

They both swore nothing was going on, and they are just friends, I guess I believe them. "Soooooo... now that you have interrogated us, we shall do the same. What is going on with you and Sam? Huh?" Kian raises an eyebrow.

"Nothing we are just friends, like you two." I answer them short and quick. "Ohhhhh Pleaseeeeee! Sam never walks girls to the door, let alone twirl them around, unless he likes youuuuuu" I begin to absorb his words and think what he is saying true. NAHHHHHHHHH.

I dismiss the topic and go to my room. I've really been wanting to take a long, nice, relaxing bath. Turning the nob, I begin to fill the tub with hot water. Once it's full, I drop a lemon bubble bar and let it bubble up. In the meantime, I put some relaxing music on, satisfied with my bubbles I take out the remainder of the bar and step in. I put a rolled towel under my head and close my eyes.

My phone goes off and I see a text from Sam:

Sam: Heyyyyyyy :)

Me: Hi!! What's up? :)

Sam: Nothing just watching T.V. and you?

Me: Well I was taking a relaxing bath, before you interrupted :o

Sam: Oh, I'm sowwwyy.

Me: I was kidding silly, but uhhh... why don't you get your ugly butt over here!

Sam: Hey my butt is hot!! And okay, but how long till you get out of the bath?

Me: You perv. Oh I just got out. Taking a five minute shower brb.

Sam: Dang... okay be there in 10.

I had just put my yoga pants on when the doorbell rang. I run downstairs and open the door to a pizza box on my steps. With a note.

I'm sorry... I can't stay, but hopefully this pizza will suffice ;)  -Sammy :*

I am sad Sam couldn't stay, but the pizza really made me feel better. I didn't share, oh well. I call Sam and see what he's doing.

Voicemail

Huh he didn't answer, he always answers. I decide to check twitter, he hasn't been on all day. Okay well he's probablyg busy. I call Ricky to see if Sam went home.

"Rickayyyyy"

"Hey L"

"Hey is Sam there?"

"No he said we went your house."

"Oh ya I was just looking for him he's probably on his way."

"Okay see yaa later Laila"

"Bye Ricky", we hang up and I'm confused. I'm not sure why he lied, but I'm going to try and forget about it. I lay down and fall asleep.
