He felt his walk is long. He kept asking time to move more faster. Can he take him on? Can he live to see the next rising sun? But the moment he stepped on the right, all that changed. He wants to beat him. At least break his jaw.
“Alright jets. You know the rules. First one knocked down, losses.” He signaled. She ranged the bell. They've looked at each other walking backwards. The groups on either side shouted with cheer and threats. Clarence and the young man puts their hands up. One of them were waiting for the first move. Clarence did the first attack. The young man blocked it and kicked him on the side. It hurt him because his ribs weren't doing too good. He bit his inside cheek and attacked his arm which he was hoping he would use it to block. He kept punching and then ended it with a final hitting blow but the young man counterattack it with his own fist. Clarence swing his hand. He got even angrier and started to attack him. They were blows, dodges and counterattacks. They were both holding their ground.
William cheered. “Kick his sweet ass, beautiful!” He exclaimed.
“YOU'RE NOT HELPING!!” He replied. He was having trouble keeping his cool and maintaining his ground. He doesn't know when he could stand. His pain behind his head started to ache. He felt the force in his face that pushed him back. He lost focus in the fight. He blocked his attacks so it wouldn't happen again. Clarence then lost his footing and fell back. A group of men caught him. He thanked them but he regretted thanking them because they pushed him forward to the opponent. The young man punched his left cheek. He could hear the crowd go “oh”. And then he left his right cheek in pain and his stomach. He fell on his knees and he knew it was the worst move to make, because he kicked under his chin which made him fell on his back. The crowd cheered but to Clarence only heard it fading. He heard William's voice. Telling him to get up. Clarence got up and slapped himself awake. He looked at the young men.
“Hey!” He turned. “I'm not done yet!” Clarence moved fast and punched him quick. The young man didn't have time to react. Clarence was too fast for him. The young man speed up and they were fighting at the same level. The crowd cheered in excitement. And so was William.
The two were both catching their breathe. Clarence was getting tired and he could see his opponent was too. He grinned.
“Tired yet?” Clarence asked. He shook his head in response. Clarence smiled again. “Good!” He was about to attack but then a loud gun fire was shot in the club. Clarence stopped and looked at the direction of the gun fire. The club went silent. A man walked in with a black suit. Gun in hand. Four men were behind him. All beat up. Clarence recognized them. He was the one who gave them their new makeover.
The man in the black suit scan the room and his eyes landed on Clarence. He smiked.
“My. Don't you have beautiful eyes.” He said.
William stepped in front of Clarence. The man in the black suit frowned. “Doesn't he?” William said, smiling.
The man pointed the gun at William. William only smiled.
“We don't have business with you.” He said.
“Oh but you do. If someone else is hitting on my man, I'll tell then to back off.” William said. “So...what are you going to do?”
“The boss want the boy.” He said. But not to William, to the people in the fight club. They all took out their guns and pointed to William and Clarence. Clarence turned his head back and in his surprised, they were also pointing their guns at the young man with purple eyes.
“Ok….let's talk!” William said.
“Tie them up. And take them to the boss.” he said. They got the three of them and tied them up. And then they were dragged into a car.
