Chapter 25

Betty POV:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing loudly. I roll over and push the off button. Usually, in the mornings I wake up with a groan, not today. I couldn't get the smile off my face. The memories of yesterday night, kissing Jughead again all came back to me. The taste of his lips, his smile, his happiness. Everything was perfect.

I skip my way towards my shower and stepped in, taking a warm shower. Nothing could ruin my mood. I hop out of the shower while humming some random tune. I dry myself off and put on a black crop top and a black pair of jeans.

I walk downstairs where I was greeted by Sweet Pea and Joaquin. This is the first day they're going back to school after their suspension. It didn't take long for the guys to forgive one another.

Betty: try not to start anymore fights. I say while raising an eyebrow at the boys. I hear them laugh. I pull out an apple from the basket and we begin walking to school.

We arrive at school and began walking down the long, cold and daunting hallways. As we're walking I got stopped by my commerce teacher. She informed me that I got 100% on my exam. I couldn't help but smile. I was confident on the exam but I never excepted to get it all right. She also told me that I had the option to, for the rest of this year move up to the Senior level commerce class. If I did that it would be one less subject I would have to do next year and the result I got on this exam would count as my final grade. That also means I would be moving into James' class. I'm glad I'll know someone.

I head to the student lounge and take a seat with everyone. Jughead soon walks in and takes a seat next to me, placing a soft peck on my lips. Everyone could tell that me and Jughead had been getting really close again, but when they saw us sit next to each other again they knew that we were back together. Don't ask me how, they just know. It's creepy actually.

The bell soon rings and I have a class with Sweet Pea and Jughead. We all head to our lockers and then the classroom. Jughead takes a seat next to me and Sweet Pea sits behind us.

We paid attention to our teacher go on about how to do Pythagoras theorem. All this information was old news though, I had self-taught this to myself at the age of 13. The teacher explained what the formula was and how to use it. He then got us to do some work from the textbook. 

I was finishing off the last question when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I quickly took it out and used my pencil case as a shield so my teacher wouldn't see it. I opened my phone and saw a message from Sweet Pea. He's literally behind me, couldn't he have just I don't know, talked to me?

I have no idea what's going on. HELP ME!

I laugh at the text and then send him the answers. I turn around and see a relieved look on his face.

The lesson soon ended and the three of us walked out. Sweet Pea walked to his locker while Jughead accompanied me to mine.

Jughead: who were you messaging earlier? He asked casually as we walk to my locker.
Betty: Sweet Pea. I say with a chuckle. He gives me confused look.
Jughead: you could have just turned around. He says.
Betty: he wanted me to give him the answers. Jughead laughs.
Jughead: of course he did. I'm pretty sure he'd be failing all his classes if it weren't for you. He says with a chuckle.

We walk to Jughead's locker and then meet everyone in the student lounge. We walk in with our hands intertwined with each other. We took a seat and all chat and enjoy our break.
