Chapter 2

Grabbing my bag I head for the door, dad is driving me today. It is my first day in rosewood, while I attend a new school my brothers was offered scholarships to one of the best universe so of course they accept and started their senior year at that universities, my biggest brother was off to college in Australia, while majoring in business management, my little brother was still in middle school. My oldest brother was the most hot tempered and irrational person you will ever meet, even though he is hot tempered but he is very caring towards his family he was built almost like a body builder to be honest but not to that extend, my second eldest brother on the other hand also has a very hot tempered but he still can reason things out, he was the tallest in our family he is 6'4 and I have to admit he has girl flying around him but he is not that type of guy to take girls for granted so I think his future girlfriend is going to be very lucky, my youngest is the devil in disguise he have the most weirdest interest among us, while I was scared of bugs he adores them, he even raise a preying mantis from egg to adult, but we still support him, he has dark hair and big eyes and a very fair skin. He was the light in our family even though he can be very annoying he can also be the ones who brighten everyones days. 

While my mind have been drifting to somewhere else my father spoke " honey, I know that the past have affect you, but make sure you know that there is people still here for you, you don't have to keep it all to yourself, remember family is everything you have and we can never turn on you." he was looking at me through the rear view mirror with loving eyes, I smiled and nodded. if only he knew that I can no longer love myself then he would understand, during those 4 years of being physically and mentally abused is enough to scar me. 

Before I knew it I was face to face to my new school, "bye dad."I quickly gave him an reassuring smile and a kiss on the cheek and left. awaits in front was my ever best friend Lina, "hey! Rose over here!" she shouted, and waved, I smiled and quickly pull over my hood over my face and walked over, my best friend decided to switch schools too so she could be with me, I walked over to the administrations area to get my schedule. 

"hello how may I help you?" the lady in her late 30s with grey strand hair ask, "iwouldlikemyschedule" I was shy and so closed off that my voice was barely a whisper. "she would like her schedule please" Lina quickly said, thank you , I mentally said. the lady smiled and proceed to ask "whats your name?" , "rose...tulip rose,  ms .ember" I whisper as I saw her name tag , she nodded and continue  type in her computer, after about a minute or so "here you go sweetie, and call me ivy " she gave me a bright smile, and I return with a small thank you. 

Lina dragged me to the locker area and proceed to check our schedule, "OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH!" she squeal we have all classes together, she shriek as she jumped around holding my hand, I giggled as I was relief that I have her with me through all my classes, you see me and Lina are like two polar opposites while she was bubbly and wore only and I swore only colorful clothes, I was the quiet ,emotionless girl that only wears black.

As we were loading supplies in my locker, a loud chatter was heard across the hall way and soon enough a swarm of high school girls came screaming, while me and Lina was fighting to not get crushed by those girls. They kept pushing and I was busying carrying my books on my hand and without warning the girls came crashing through making me lose my balanced and tripped, which caused my books to go flying, to be honest falling was not that painful but those girls just had to step on my hand which earn a painful scream from me, this triggered some bad memories and I was in a panic mood, I just laid there trying not to hyperventilate, everybody stopped and stared, I didn't have to look that they were staring at me I can just feel their eyes on me. Soon enough, my angel best friend came by my side and started to pick me up then proceeded to lead me to a place where there is less people and started to comfort me "hey hey hey listen to me you are okay " she said as she embraced me and rub her hand at my back, " I am here, you will be okay, you are safe " she didn't let go but to continued to hug me for a while longer until she let go, "are you okay?" she ask her face showed concerned, " I am okay " I smiled, "now let me look at your hand "she took my hand and has a nasty look on her face, it was bruised the color purple and black were starting to form, " lets get you to the nurse room" I quickly shook my head " no no no, lets go to class" she hesitated for a moment and nodded. 

we walked back to the locker place and i start to pick up my book, my hand was bruised and it hurts just to move it, so for now I just have one hand to use good thing I am right handed. as I was busy picking my color marker, a hand came in my view and I looked up to a dazzling ocean blue eyes, my god he is no doubt the hottest guy I've came across with, he was dressed in a black leather jacket, black under shirt , pants and shoes, his hair was pitched black and a jawline so sharp it can cut you, he was a living model. As I realized that I was staring and practically drooling over him I dropped the color markers and accidentally hit my left hand with my knee, I winced and held my hand, when Lina heard the markers dropped she came by side and as soon as she saw him she dropped her eyes and said sorry and quickly picked up the markers. I didn't realize but everyone in the hallway was still and their eyes were staring at the man and me, Lina quickly grabbed my sleeves to the locker and said " are you crazy??" she whisper yell, confused I ask her " what? I didn't do anything" I gave her a puzzled look, " that is the one and only bad boy of this school, the Riamond Dante, he is known as the trouble maker" oooh now I understand, Lina started school first because I was two weeks late, she started early so she probably heard more, " Be careful of him he has a lot of girls attached to his hips, those girls might come for you too" I nodded in understanding, because I didn't want any attention to drawn to me as I finish high school, but that failed, since I practically screamed bloody murder during the accident. with that said the school bell rings, which only mean one thing class time. 

I entered the classroom with Lina by my side our first subject was English, she left my side to go and whisper something to the teacher because she spoke up, "listen class, we have a new student that will be going our class from now on, be nice to her , her name is tulip rose " as she introduces me I was busy staring at the ground and inspecting my hand, that I didn't hear Lina whispering to me, "ms. rose, nice to meet you I am ms. Emma " she says smiling and I looked up and returned her with a small smile, "Lina if you please she can sit your desk", Lina excitedly dragged me to her table. 

As I settled down to my seat I just remember that Lina whisper something to the teacher, out of curiosity I ask her " what did you whisper to ms Emma ?", "oh, nothin I just inform her that you are very shy and that I would love if you could sit next to me " we giggled at her answer and sat down and payed attention. but before she proceed to teach she coughed and said " now class for this two weeks you have been sitting freely without assign seats, now it is time for me to take your freedom away!" she faked an evil laughed and proceed to call names to form groups for four since the desk was a cluster of four desk together,  two student have to sit together while the ones at the front has to face each other, now it was Lily that's the nickname I gave Lina and she called me rosy " ms.spring (Lina), you will be sitting right where you are with ms.rose ," we were busy silently celebrating that we didn't payed attention who the teacher called next "mr. Dante, and mr, grey you will be joining ms.rose and ms. spring" the whole class fell silently and only girls shrieking in jealously can be heard. I didn't realized that Dante was siting right next to me, while Lily was siting in front of me and she was facing grey, the moment we realized it, we just stopped and Lily quickly turn her head to the direction of Grey and Dante and groan while I remained frozen and sigh, this is going to be a long year.
