The rest of the day was literally hell! Every 10 minutes for the rest of the day he would ask who gave me the hickey. Finally the final bell rang. I saw Mike look at me and then he stood up and started walking towards me. I shot out of my seat and ran out. I couldn't let him know that it was our frickn principal.

I stopped at my locker and grabbed my bag. I started running out to the parking lot but then I realized Mikey was my only way home. My bike was in the shop and the house was over a 30 minute walk away.  I slowly trudged out to the car. He was already inside. I slowly grabbed the car handle and pulled. It wouldn't open. I knocked on the window and he looked up. Then his phone buzzed and he looked down again. I knocked again and he just ignored me. I knocked harder and harder.

"Micheal Grant Forest open the goddamn door!" I yelled. That drew a ton of attention. I mean my brother was a pretty popular guy. A few girls craned their necks trying to see in the car. I glared at everyone who was staring and they all looked away.

He rolled the passenger window down just enough so I could hear him.

"I'll only let you in if you trell me who it was," I practically growled at him. "I don't have all day. Tell me." He rolled the window up and left me standing there. I saw Noah walking by and I ran over to him.

"Hey," I said. He looked at me oddly.

"Um hi?" he replied.

"What's up?" I asked with a smile.

"Nothing much. I'm just walking home," there was my chance. If he was in the car Mikey wouldn't dare asking. I've managed to borrow some of Maddy's concealer and keep my hair down all day so luckily (Not really) only Mike saw it.

"Hey how bout Mikey and I give you a ride home!" I asked and smiled even wider.

"Oh, um, sure." I lead him to the car and I told him to wait near the back so Mikey wouldn't see him yet. I knocked again he rolled down the window.

"So, who was it?" He asked. I smiled again. Wow I was smiing more today than I have in a month.

"I'll tell you when we get home," I motioned for Noah to come forward. My brother gave me a death glare and unlocked the car. I opened the back door and Noah climbed in. I hesitated for a second before crawling in the back with him. It was very very awkward. Mikey would keep looking at us through the rearview mirror. Noah kept glancing towards mee. I couldn't take it any longer.

Luckily he spoke up first. "So um how have you been, Mia?" I looked over at him. He was running his hand through his golden brown hair again. His green eyes were flitting from me to the window. His nervous habit was kind of adorable.

NOAH'S POV:

I realized that I was still messing with my hair. That must seem weird. I rested my hand on my neck and finally made my eyes stop moving around. I found her to be the most adorable person ever. Well I'm not sure that that is the righ word to describe her. She's to badass for that.
