Chapter 21

"What are we, Mia?" Justin asked. He was slouched against his door, looking at his feet. His hair flopped in front of his face. I scuffed my foot on the ground and looked down like him.

"What do you mean?" I asked. He sighed and stood up straight, frustrated. He brushed his hair back and stepped closer.

"What I mean is What are we?  We kissed and have hung out like a couple but then you go on hanging out with Noah and flirting and god knows what else." He said. He plopped down on the bed and folded his hands between his legs. I kept standing awkwardly in the middle of his room.

"You can't like both. You can't date both of us," He said back.
