Chapter 8-Explanation

*3rd POV*

About an hour of Kage running at top speed, you finally made it to Mongolia. Kage didn't bother to hide as he bolted down into the streets of Mongolia. People screamed at his appearance before quickly moving out of the way. Kage ignored them all and bolted through the crowds towards the guild. When he finally got there, he didn't slow down. He used his shadows and threw open the guild doors. He hit his breaks once he was inside.

The whole guild now had their attention on Kage as he panted heavily, his injuries taking an effect on him. "HELP!" Wendy yelled with tears in her eyes. Right after she yelled help, Kage collapsed on the ground causing Wendy, Carla, and you to all fall off. "I-*pant* I'm sorry Wendy *pant*. I can't stand any longer." With that, he was out.

Natsu, Erza, and a few others rushed over to them. Before they could reach her though, Loke and Gemini appeared in front of her and kneeled down, surprising everyone. "Wendy what happened?" His voice held seriousness as he checked your pulse. When the others got closer, only then could they see their newer guildmate bleeding out on the ground, out like a light. Only then could they see just how bad of conditions you and Kage were in. Wendy only had a few scratches on her as she kneeled next to you with tears streaming down her face.

"Get (y/n) to the infirmary and call Porlyusica, NOW!" Loke demanded. "Gemini, I need one of you to go get Diamond now." Gemini didn't say a word as they were gone within a blink of an eye.

Immediately, Natsu picked you up bridal style and brought you up to the infirmary while another guild member went to receive Porlyusica. "Grey, Erza, can you two move Kage so he's somewhere better." Grey, Erza, and a few others then moved Kage (not without a struggle though) off to the side so he was in a better place rather than out in the middle.

Lucy immediately went over to try and calm Wendy down with Carla's help. Loke looked at Wendy with all seriousness. "Wendy, I need you to tell me what happened. And don't leave out any detail, it's very important that you tell me everything. Don't worry, (y/n)'s gonna be alright. I promise. She's not gonna go on my watch." Wendy nodded her head and tried wiping her tears.

Lucy looked at Loke with confusion. What was going on with him? He had been avoiding (y/n) since she got here. She had tried and ask why but he would always refuse to answer and change the subject. Now he was acting like he had known her and being so serious. What's going on?

Loke sat in front of Wendy, waiting patiently for the young girl to calm down. "*sniff* W-well, *sniff* we were coming back from our *sniff* job-" "Wait so this wasn't from the job?" Lucy interrupted, surprised. Wendy shook her head.

"*sniff* No. we were walking back through the town when we realized that the entire town was empty. That's when I should have known something was really wrong." Wendy paused. "We continued walking until we came to the middle of the town where we a man. I didn't get a good look at him, but I know he was different. He had lion ears and tail." Everyone's eyes widened. "That's not all though, it seemed (y/n) and Kage knew him. She seemed so happy to see him and started talking to him. I remember the man's name though, it was Leo."

"Shit." Loke muttered from under his breath, but the others heard. They looked at him confused at he motioned the girl to continue.

"The man didn't say anything as (y/n) continued to talk to him. She approached him a little bit and that's when it happened. It was so fast. He attacked her and sent her flying into a house, completely destroying it. My mind kind of went fuzzy from there. I know Kage jumped in front of me and started talking to him, but I don't remember what he said. I do know that the man didn't talk the whole time though.
