Chapter 12-Let's go Home

*3rd POV*

It was about 3 days later when (y/n) finally woke up, this time as herself.

When you awoke you were met with the sight of Leo laying in the bed next to you reading. You slowly sat up, still slightly stiff, causing you to groan a bit. Immediately, Leo's attention was on you as he set his book down and got up to help you sit up.

"Hey, (y/n)...."

Without warning, you (just about) lunged forward and embraced your friend in a tight hug.

"Leo, it's been too long. Oh, I'm so glad you're ok."

That was it. Leo broke down and started to quietly sob in your arms, holding on tighter to you. "(y/n) I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry!" you smiled softly and held him a bit closer. "Leo don't do that. It's not your fault. I know that, and so do you." "But I could have killed you! I almost did!" "But you didn't and that's what matters. Leo what's done is done. You've just gotta move forward. Besides. That dick roll just took four of our friends and my siblings. He just made the very top of my shit list, and I'm gonna need some help getting justice. So, are you willing to put all that behind you and help me get our friends back? Or are you gonna just wallow in self-pity? That's not the Leo I know and love. So please. Don't beat yourself up over it. Honestly, I'm fine. Promise."

You looked him in the eye as he wiped the few stray tears on his cheeks. You gave him a big smile as he returned it with a smaller, but still more like himself, smile. "Now," you started, "we should talk about what we're gonna do next. It seems I've been out for a while and I wanna know what's happened." "Well then. Let's get to the others then. I'm sure they're worried about you."

With that, Leo helped you up where you then, very loudly, cracked your bandage covered back. "Damn. I'm a bit stiff...and sore." "I'd expect nothing less seeming how you almost died. At least your injuries are healed. Well, most of them at least. Your back is still gonna be at least another week. It was really bad. Now come on, let's go." Leo replied as he tossed you a sweatshirt. You carefully put it on and slowly made your way to the infirmary door before you stopped right before it.

"What.....what exactly happened when I wasn't in control Leo? What did she tell them?"

"Honestly, she just tried to put you down again. Kept telling us that you were gone and that you're worthless and not cared for important. That kind of stuff. Don't worry though, no one believed her. I promise."

You said nothing as you gave a small nod and left the infirmary.

When you exited the infirmary, all eyes were immediately on you as you made your way to team Natsu's table. You noticed immediately that Sabertooth was as here sitting with team Natsu at the table, Kage and Sargent next to them as well. Everything was silent as you slowly sat next to Natsu and Leo sat next to Erza right across from you. It was silent for a moment until Wendy spoke up. "Are you.... are you really (y/n)?"

You slowly looked over to her with an emotionless expression causing her to freeze up for a moment. A warm smile appeared on your face as you reached across the table and patted Wendy's head from her seat beside Erza. "I'm sorry to worry you Wendy, but yes, it's me. I'm sorry about what happened. I can do nothing but give my absolute apologies. I've caused you all so much trouble since I've joined this guild. I'm truly sorry. If you wish, just say the words and I'll le-"

"Shut up already!"

This surprised you. Your eyes widened as you looked over next to you at Natsu. "I'm sorry?"

"You heard me. Don't talk like that. It's not your fault all this is happening, it's that damn purple-haired freak's. He's the one controlling your friends, right? Then it's not your fault. Now, what do you wanna do about it? Whatever you decide, we're with you."
