*3rd POV*

Darkness. Darkness was all around you. You stood in the middle of absolute nothingness and looked around. Where were you? This place was familiar to you but you couldn't pinpoint it. 'Grrrrrr. Think (y/n), think!' You knew your memory was bad but you didn't think it was this bad.

"Have you figured it out yet?" You froze as a voice spoke, appearing to be from everywhere. You knew that voice. No, it couldn't be... "Yep, it's me. Are you glad to see me because boy, am I ever glad to see you." Suddenly, the voice seemed to appear right behind you. You turned around and stared at the being in front of you.

There before your eyes, was a being who looked a lot like you. The only difference was that she had straight red hair and both of her eyes were blue, green, pink and yellow circles. She stared at you and a sinister grin appeared on her face, exposing all of her sharp teeth.

"It's been a long time (y/n). How ya been?"

You glared at her. "You know how I've been. You know everything about me. And I know everything about you. So you can drop the goody-goody act. What do you want?"

Her grin only widened. "Oh, you know what I want, and this time I'm gonna get it. You see (y/n), your body is weak right now from fighting your little friends~"

You knew where this was going. "NO!"

"YES!" She shot back. "Your body is mine now (Y/n). You can't control me, you've never been able to. Just give in."

"NO! I will never give in to the likes of you."

"You're the God of Insanity (Y/n)! You ARE insanity!!! Let us do what you're meant to do and spread insanity! It's our job. All you have to do is give into me~"

"MY job is not to spread insanity! Insanity causes nothing good. You're right, I AM insanity, but I will not spread it for the hell of it like you want to do. That is not my job."

"Then what is your job (y/n)? What are you meant to do if it's not to spread Insanity?"

"..."

You were silent. You had no idea how to respond to that. You looked down. She had a point... if you're not meant to spread insanity, then what were you supposed to do? She smirked.

"See, you don't know. It's sad really. The goddess of insanity can't even control her own insanity. She doesn't even know what she's supposed to do. Pendragon would be so disappointed in you."

Your head snapped back up to her and you had a murderous glare on your face.

"Don't you dare bring my father into this! You have no right!"

"I can and I will bring him into this (Y/N)! I do have a right! I am your insanity! You are the second-generation goddess of insanity! Pendragon is your father! HE IS THE FIRST-GENERATIOPN GOD OF INSANITY! I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BRING HIM INTO THIS! HOW CAN A GOD, EPESIALLY THE ONE WHO CONTROLS AND RULES OVER IT, NOT BE ABLE TO CONTROL THEIR OWN POWERS!?!?" She paused for a moment before quickly continuing. "You're nothing but a weakling. A wannabe god who's too scared to face the truth. You'll never be as strong as Pendragon, and you know that. Why do you think you haven't been able to find him yet? It's not because he's nowhere to be found, no, it's because you're too scared to face him. You're over three thousand years old and still can't control your insanity. It's been a hundred years and you still can't find him. You're not even trying, are you? You're to afraid that if you do find him, he'll be disappointed in you. You've been on your own for a century and still have gotten nowhere. Why are you still fighting? It's pointless. You know I'm right."
