*3rd POV*

A few hours later, you were still at the guild. Kage was now laying in between yours and Erza's chair while you both were gently petting him. You had spent the past few hours just talking and getting to know your new, well, you weren't really sure what to call them. I guess they could be considered your friends, but you still weren't 100% sure yet. You only had a select handful of friends and they were all scattered about, so it was only you and Kage most of the times. You never really bothered making any other friends because it usually ended in pain, whether it be you or them.

More and more people were slowly leaving the guild for the night when Lucy spoke up. "So (y/n), do you have a place to stay for the night?" You shrugged. "We were probably just gonna camp out somewhere near the woods. I was thinking in the trees somewhere. Keeps us off the ground and we aren't so vulnerable then." Lucy's eyes widened. "What? No you can't! You should stay at my house! I don't have an extra bed, but I have a couch. It's super comfy too." "No, no, I couldn't do that. Besides, we don't mind camping outside, we're used to it." "Please I insist." "..." You pondered over the subject for a moment. "...are you positive it's ok?" The blond nodded. "...ok then. Thank you." You bowed the best you could sitting down, and the blond smiled. "Let's go then!"

You turned and nudged Kage so you could head out. You got up when Grey spoke. "Hey, (y/n) I forgot to ask. What's with the formal attitude? Like the bowing? You know you don't have to do that with us right?" That caught you off guard. "Well, it's how I was raised. My parents taught me to always be respectful to others and to always show the right manners. They were kind of old fashion, so they taught me to always bow in respect when thanking, meeting or just when needed towards others. It was one of the first things they taught me, and they would always remind me. Now it's just kind of a habit."

The others looked at you in interest when Wendy spoke up. "Wait, parents?" Shit. You had to think fast. "Yep. I was raised by two dragons. Well, I and my brother were. An ice dragon and a sky dragon. I work better with Ice, but know some Sky Dragon magic, while my brother works best with Sky Dragon magic and is ok with Ice Dragon magic." Erza spoke. "You seem to speak of him a lot, who is your brother?" It took you a moment to reply. "He's my twin brother. He's only older by three minutes though. He and I went separate ways a while ago after our parents disappeared and we haven't talked to each other since. I don't where he is."

Everyone was silent as you held a sad smile on your face. After a minute you fixed yourself and place a fake cover-up smile on your face to cover your sadness. "Anyways, let's go. I'm actually kind of getting tired." No one asked any more questions as you and Lucy said your goodbyes to everyone and you three headed out.

Once outside, you turned towards Kage. "Can you give us a ride buddy?" The beast said nothing as he lowered himself into a laying position for you to get on. You then got on his back and motion Lucy to do the same. "How? He's huge!" "Just rest your hands on his back and swing a leg over while pulling yourself up. The more times you do it, the easier it becomes." You explained. Lucy did just that. After a few tries, and you helping her up, she was sitting behind you. As Kage slowly stood up, Lucy grabbed onto you. "It's so high!" You chuckled. "Naw, this is nothin. Also, hold onto me tightly. K?" She held onto you without a question as you asked for the directions to her house. She told you and you smirked. "M'kay bud! You heard the girl. Let's go!" Suddenly, Kage took off running down the street, and fast. "Holy shit!" You heard Lucy scream over the wind. "He's so fast!" You laughed at her reaction.

After about two minutes, you were there. "This the place?" Lucy was only able to nod her head as Kage laid down, and you both got off (you helping her off). "Oh my god... he's so fast..." You laughed. Luce, that's not his top speed. He really wasn't going all that fast. I'd say he was going about 40, 50 at most. That was child's play for him." You patted her back as she looked at you in completes shock and in fear. "Now," you didn't let her speak, "let's go inside!" Lucy took a moment before making her way to the front door and unlocked it, you and Kage following. "Can Kage come in too?" You asked. Lucy smiled. "Of course!" You smiled at the blond and you all entered.
