Ticci Toby x Reader

Chapter 21

I climbed back into my room and grabbed a hoodie that was on my bed. I put my ear to the door to listen for any breathing or footsteps. I didn't hear anything. I opened my door just enough so I could see into the hall. There was no one there. I took a deep breath and opened the door. I looked back to my room and saw a knife I left during the move sitting on my desk. I put it in my pocket and left my room. 

I was extra careful to watch for Joe and make sure that he wasn't lurking anyplace waiting for me. I walked around a corner and slammed into someone. I just felt them grab my arms and I reached for the knife. I kept my eyes closed because I didn't want to see the same look on his face as the time he attacked me. 

Then I heard Toby yelling at me to stop, "(y/n) ...(Y/N) stop it's Toby".

I opened my eyes and saw that I put a pretty good sized cut on his face. I looked at him and dropped the knife. I fell to the ground tears in my eyes. I started to shake. Toby grabbed me and held me in a tight hug. He kept saying that everything was okay. 

He helped me up when I was done crying and brought me down to the kitchen. He sat me at the table and went to wash his face. When he came back he had two plates of waffles. He had them piled up and had syrup on them. 

I was just about to eat when I heard something move behind me. I grabbed the knife that was meant for the waffles and slashed it back and stood up, throwing the chair back a couple of feet. Joe grabbed my arm just in time before I hit his face. He had a smug look on his face. I pulled my arm back and he let go making me stumble a few feet back. He didn't say anything all he did was put a small box on the table with a bow on it. He turned around and walked away.
