Ticci Toby x Reader

CHAPTER 22

Toby and I just walked until we were almost to the border of the woods. Then we went to a pond that wasn't too far outside the woods. No one would see us there because no one knew about it. The pond was so cut off from town that the only living things that you would find there were the animals. 

I had Toby's hand in one hand and the box that Joe left in the other. When we got to the pond we climbed on top of a tall rock that was there. Toby sat down next to me and I put my head on his shoulder. I could feel him twitch every so often but I didn't mind it.  We sat there for a while in silence. 

"Are you o-okay?" he asked me. 

I just nodded my head and looked down at the box. I was scared of what was inside but I knew whatever it was it wouldn't kill me. I carefully untied the bow and opened the box. There was a note inside. I took out the note, not even looking at the contents of the box, and read it. 

"I took these from your parents the night that I killed them. I've always kept them with me and I thought that you might want them. After all, they seemed pretty important. Love Joe ".

I just started at the note for a minute. Toby took it from my hand and read it. I looked in the box and there was a little bag in there. I opened it up and pulled out two necklaces with rings on it. One had two rings the other had only one. The gold bands were my mom and dad's wedding rings and the other ring was my mom engagement ring. On my mom's necklace, there was a heart locket. On my dad's there was a cross I got him when I was little. He always had it on. I knew my mom always had a necklace on but I never knew the charm because she kept it under her shirt. 

I opened the locket and saw a picture of me when I was born and a picture someone took of me. I had a real smile on my face. It was at a family event and it was about a week before they were killed. I was shocked because all my life my mother beat me and starved me. Never thought twice about it. I started to cry. I wasn't sure why because they were always so awful to me all the time. 

Toby pulled me into a tight hug and didn't let go until I was done. "You know Slendy can show you what your parents had going on in their heads and why they treated you like that now that you have something important of theirs". 

I wanted to know so we got up I started to run and Toby came flying he picked me up and ran 10X faster than I could've run. When we got to the mansion Joe was outside and as soon as he saw us he had the same look in his eyes as he did before he attacked me just outside the forest.
