Throughout the entire class Marc couldn't focus because his heart was racing too fast. He was sure that he was constantly blushing anytime his hand would brush Nathaniel's or vice versa. "Hey, are you alright, Marc...?" Nathaniel asked, clearly concerned, "your face is really red.." Nathaniel gently pressed the back of his hand to Marc's forehead. This, of course, caused Marc to feel a wave of heat rush through his body, darkening his blush. "Y-you're fine.. I mean I'm fine!! I'm fine...," Marc stammered. Marinette saw the exchange and she sighed softly before turning back around. "Poor Marc... He's so nervous he can't get his thoughts to come out right..." Alya nodded in agreement. Before long, the bell rang to change classes so Marc packed up his things and rejoined Marinette as they walked to science class.

In science class, Marc actually was seated next to Kim, the athlete of the class. "So. You're the new kid, huh? I'm Kim," he said smiling. Marc smiled shyly until Marc felt something land on his lap. He looked down and saw a bullfrog standing there. The noise the class heard next was not previously known to the human race until they saw Marc leap out off of his stool and dart to the restroom. As he ran he could hear laughter from two girls, but he didn't care. He only cared about not being followed by the frog. Upon reaching the restroom Marc entered the largest stall and curled up in the fetal position on the floor. That was when he heard the restroom door open and close.

"Marc...? Are you in here...?" Marc froze. It was Kim, the athlete. Marc knew he would start to tease him because of the frog. What he got was the opposite. "Ya know, in elementary school, I was on the swim team and a frog slipped into my speedo.. I didn't expect it and it scared me too so I can relate..." Marc was floored. Kim was actually trying to make him feel better instead of teasing him.

Marc's eyes softened, "Thank you, Kim.... It means a lot to hear that..." Marc stood up and brushed himself off before leaving the stall and smiling at Kim. Kim, of course, smiled back before he noticed the makeup. "Is that eyeliner...?" Marc blushed. "Yeah... Marinette did it for me... I'm not good with makeup yet so I would've poked my eye with the pencil if not for her..." Kim smiled in encouragement. He may be a boy, but he had to admit he looked cute in the makeup. Marc smiled shyly before walking back to class with Kim, only to get an evil look from Chloe but a hug from Marinette. "Are you OK, Marc??" she said as she looked him over. Marc nodded, "Yeah.. I just wasn't expecting that frog, is all..." Marinette nodded and glared at Chloe, more than certain that she let it out of its tank into the classroom. Marc went to sit back next to Nathaniel and saw him sweeping up some broken glass, making him feel guilty. "Here, let me do that... It's my fault it broke..." Nathaniel just looked up and his electric blue eyes softened. "No, I'll handle this... It isn't your fault..," Nathaniel replied gently. He saw the terror in his eyes when he saw the frog in his lap so he didn't want him to possibly cut himself on the glass.

Marc looked away as he sat down. He wasn't going to argue with Nathaniel over this. Soon, the glass was swept up and the class returned to normal, everyone working quietly on a worksheet on their tablets. This was an easy task for Marc so he put the tablet to sleep before grabbing his notebook and writing, working on a work he affectionately named The Diary of Ladybug. He made sure to not let anyone read it as he wrote. This was his private joy, writing stories to go along with the comics Nathaniel posted online. It made him feel almost like he was the confident Ladybug writing about the boy who used to be Evillustrator. He would visualize his writings, sometimes closing the book on his hand to close his eyes and enjoy the adrenaline that would course through his veins. This was what he loved about being an author, much as a hunter loves about tracking his prey. Words simply couldn't express his love for his work.

He was so caught up in his daydream that he didn't hear the dismissal bell for the day so when he felt a hand on his shoulder he jumped. He looked up with his emerald green eye and met electric blue. He immediately felt heat in his cheeks when he realized it was Nathaniel. "O-oh hey... Nathaniel...." Nathaniel smiled. This blush on Marc's face was just too cute. "The bell rang for everyone to go home. You looked so much in the zone I figured you didn't hear it," he said with a sweet smile. Marc blushed more before quickly getting up and getting his things before running off to catch up with Marinette and Alya. "Girl, we should totally go!!you know Adrien will be there~!" Marinette got flustered again, "I-I know b-but his dad is always changing Adrien's plans... A-and my family is having Marc for awhile... Remember....?" Alya nodded then thought for a good minute. Then she smiled and snapped her fingers, "Marc could totally go with us!! He might even have fun!" Marc walked over in confusion, "What's going on...?"

Alya smiled big and draped an arm across his shoulders. "There's gonna be a party at Nino's tonight, and Marinette's big-time crush is gonna be there, but she's trying to chicken out of going." Marc smiled softly, "Come on, Marinette. I'm sure it'll be fun... I would probably be way too shy to talk to anyone but if it gives you a chance to have fun with your crush, then I'll go with you girls..." Marinette was surprised. This boy is so shy and has social anxiety, but he offered to go with her and Alya just so she could see Adrien. She smiled big and nodded, "Alright! Let's go get ready for it!" They all walked to the bakery together, laughing and talking about how much fun it's gonna be, as well as teasing Marinette for her crush on Adrien.
