Marinette was expecting for them to walk out holding hands but instead she saw Marc running past her with his hood up, and she knew he was crying. Did he turn Marc down? That was when she heard Nathaniel scream "Bitch!!!" before zooming past her, almost knocking her down as he did his best to keep Marc in his sight. He couldn't believe Chloe would do this; this was an all-time low for even her. He finally got close enough to grab his hood when Marc side-stepped, resulting in Nathaniel hitting a street light head on. He fell backwards and his vision blurred in his right eye but he saw Marc standing there, eyes wide in shock before running off again. Nathaniel got up and went after him again, even calling Alex and explaining everything to her. She immediately hung up and Nathaniel tripped, his phone flying across the sidewalk and landing at Marc's foot since he had to stop to catch his breath. He saw the phone and recognized it as Nathaniel's so he turned to find Nathaniel on the ground. Nathaniel looked up at the boy he loved so dearly and after seeing the heartbroken look in Marc's eyes, he got up and just started to walk away towards home.
"You're leaving your phone..," Marc said. Nathaniel shook his head. He just walked away silently, heartbroken himself. Marc's eyes darkened then he lit up the screen, only to see a picture of himself. His eyes widened. He knew that if he were really interested in Chloe that she would've been his lockscreen, not himself. He looked around for Nathaniel but didn't find him. Marc couldn't just call him and apologize for running away. Tears filled his eyes as he looked down. He hated himself for hurting the boy he loved. He put both phones away and took off running again, this time to Nathaniel's. When he arrived he barely knocked once when Nathaniel's mother pulled him inside. They heard sobbing and crashes up in Nathaniel's room. Marc ran up the stairs and didn't even knock; he barged right into Nathaniel's room, where Nathaniel was now sitting on his bed staring at a picture of Marc the night they went to a festival. Marc's eyes softened as he quietly walked over to him and sat next next to him. "I remember that night... You insisted on eating that pizza before going on that ride that spun so fast we were pinned to the sides..." he said as he chuckled before it faded and he sighed, "Listen...I'm sorry... I should've stopped and let you explain.... Instead i let you get hurt....you have a black eye thanks to me...." he curled into a ball and tried to hold back more tears. Nathaniel looked over and pulled him close. "It isn't your fault... Chloe is just a jealous bitch...." Nathaniel said as he rubbed Marc's side.
Marc looked over at him, tears streaming down his face. Nathaniel gently wiped his tears away and he couldn't stop himself this time; he leaned in and his lips met with Marc's. Marc's eyes widened before fluttering closed. He cupped Nathaniel's cheek on his unharmed side of his face as Nathaniel tasted strawberries. So that's what he ate at lunch. Nathaniel pulled him closer by his waist and deepened the kiss. Marc instinctively melted into it and Nathaniel gently coaxed Marc out of his red jacket and he shrugged his own off before deepening the kiss so much that when they finally broke for air, Marc was laying on Nathaniel's bed with Nathaniel leaned over him. Of course, both of them blushed. They didn't expect to basically end up making out. Nathaniel, still blushing, smiled lovingly. "Marc Anciel.... I've never done this before but... will you be my boyfriend...?" Marc smiled and answered his question by pulling him back down and kissing him again, this time giggling when he noticed that his lipstick had transferred. Nathaniel'smother, who had grown concerned by the lack of noise, opened the door and saw the position the boys were in and smiled. "I see everything got worked out..." Nathaniel turned to look at her and her eyes went huge before getting serious, "Both of you. Downstairs. Now." Both boys gulped audibly before heading downstairs, Marc being terrified. Would she call his father and tell him his son just made out with another boy? They sat next to each other on the couch as Nathaniel's mother walked in with her arms crossed.
"How long?" she said sternly. Marc tried to speak, but when he couldn't find the words so Nathaniel rested a hand on Marc's. "Mom, please... This is the first time we've done anything like this.... I think Marc was trying to tell me he liked me today at the school but then Chloe kissed me right before he opened the door... I've liked him since I first saw him.... Please, don't be mad at us..." Nathaniel said as his eyes filled with tears. After hearing the explanation, she nodded, "Alright. But no secrets, OK? If you two plan anything you tell me. From dinner dates to sex. Got it?" Both boys were shocked then her last words hit them. "MOM!!!! " She laughed. "Now, upstairs with you two. I need to tell Mr. Anciel you two had to discuss plans for the next comic so Marc is spending the night." The boys smiled happily and ran back upstairs hand-in-hand. When they got up there, they worked on cleaning the room back up before cuddling with each other on Nathaniel's bed. "Ya know, I'm gonna need a new wallpaper... I'm thinking of us together,"Nathaniel said lovingly. Marc agreed and they posed for a selfie but at the last second he kissed Marc's cheek, catching both their love and Marc's surprise, "Perfect!" He immediately set it as his lockscreen. Marc blushed cutely before laying his head on Nathaniel's chest, listening to his heartbeat. Nathaniel smiled and rubbed his back lovingly. In a matter of minutes, Marc was sound asleep cuddled up to him. Nathaniel brushed Marc's bangs out of his face and watched him before slowly falling asleep, holding Marc protectively. He finally had him; he wasn't about to let him go any time soon.
