The next morning, the Gang of Four friends were sitting at the Gryffindor table in the great hall. Angelica sat between Hermione and Harry while Ron sat on Harry's other side. Harry was sitting quietly twirling a piece of bacon around his fork. His first Quidditch match was today and Harry was more nervous than he thought he'd be."Have a bit of toast, mate. Go on." Ron said trying to get his friend to eat.
"Ron's right Harry. You're going to need your strength today." Angelica said placing a comforting hand on her friend's shoulder.
"No, I'm not hungry." Harry replied to his friends as he pushed his plate of food away from him. Angelica went to say something but was quickly cut off by her father's presence behind her.
"Morning father." She greeted him cheerfully with a smile on her face. Severus simply looked down and half smiled at her with a strong glare.
To anyone else, they'd think he was always in a foul mood however, Angelica's slowly learned her fathers body language and facial expressions, giving her a slight advantage.
Harry and Ron both tensed when they saw Snape behind them, he'd never admit it verbally, but Severus was pleased with the fear he gave most of the students at Hogwarts, he doesn't do it out of spite nor joy, he's tough and strict on his students so they know who's in charge. Severus did a quick glance of the room to make sure no one could hear him.
"Good luck today Mr. Potter, although now that you have proven yourself worthy with a troll... a little game of quidditch should be easy for you. Even if it's against Slytherin." Severus said before limping away from the table. Vanessa came down to greet the children just as Severus was leaving.
"Morning mum." Angelica said as she watched her father limp away.
"Good morning dear." Vanessa replied smiling down at her daughter.
"Morning kids." She said to the others.
"Morning professor." They all chimed in in sync.
Harry's attention was taken by Severus's limp, he looked closely at him through his round glasses before he accidentally spoke out loud.
"That explains the blood." He said gaining Angelica's attention.
"Blood?" She asked in a shocked manner, wondering what he was going on about.
"Listen, last night I'm guessing Snape-...." Harry was cut off by Angelica
"Harry, you might want to continue this at a different time." She informed him, trying to get him to notice that her mother was still behind them. Harry continued on with what he was saying, completely ignoring Angelica's comment.
"Let the troll in as a diversion so he could try and get past that three-headed dog. But, he got himself bitten, that's why he's limping." Harry finished his accusation. Angelica sighed and chimed in again.
"Harry, I was with my father last night, remember?" She told him.
"After that." He said.
"But why would anyone want to go near that dog?" Hermione asked.
"Dog? A dog! That's what you call it? More like a beast with triple the Appetite if you ask me." Ron said making everyone look at him.
"The day I was at Gringotts, Hagrid took something out of one of the vaults. He said it was Hogwarts' business, very secret." Harry said making his point.
"So, your saying." Hermione said before Harry spoke over her.
"That's what's in the trap door, that's what Snape wants." Harry said clarifying his statement.
