The hall grew quiet and everyone was whispering, about professor Snape having a daughter. Angelica ignored all the comments the other students were making but quickly glanced over to Draco and felt very satisfied when he had a scared look on his face. She looked at him before moving through the crowd, giving him the biggest death glare in history.

This was it, Angelica thought. This was either going to end really, really good or really, really, bad... There was no in-between. Angelica slowly and nervously made her way up the stairs to the stool she was ordered to sit on for the Sorting Hat to make its decision.

She held tightly on the edges of her robes as she walked up the stairs one by one, she looked over to Professor McGonagall who gave her a small smile. She sat on the stool and the hat was placed gently on her head, any small talk from the other students in the hall, were now all quiet, everyone was watching and listening to her sorting.

Severus who was a little too curious was on the edge of his seat waiting patiently for the announcement, Vanessa saw him trying to hide his nervous and gently placed her hand in his and intertwined them.

Angelica looked over at Harry and Ron with a worried look. Harry mouthed she would be okay and Ron smiled at her and breathed heavily hoping she would catch his drift and mirror his actions. After two deep breaths, the Hat started talking.

"Ahh, another Snape. Right then, okay. Well this is going to be difficult, oh yes. I see determination yes and a strong ambition. I can see you have a big heart yes, there is no doubt about that. There's an urge to prove yourself, hardworking, intelligence, strong minded. Strong abilities lie within you, I can see your more powerful than anyone in this room. Yes, great things are expected of you. A strong sense of proudness and stubbornness. I can see qualities that are unique for every one of the houses. But which one for you?" The hat said. Angelica looked around nervously, not knowing what to think.

"GRYFFINDOR!" The hat shouted.

The entire Gryffindor table cheered and clapped excitedly for their new house member Angelica, on the other hand, didn't know what to feel, she didn't know if she was happy or upset, would her father be happy or upset with her? She didn't want to make him mad or upset that she wasn't in his house and more to the point, she was placed in the house he clearly hates the most.

Despite what he told her earlier, she was truly terrified of his words of disappointment. She walked down to her table and sat down towards the end, she ended up sitting next to twin boys who had fiery red hair and blue eyes just like Ron did.

"Hello, Well done on getting Gryffindor" One of the boys said to her then the other brother joined in "yeah! good thing you didn't get in Slytherin, you would've had to deal more with the greasy old dungeon bat Snape" Fred said laughing to his brother and high fived George.

Angelica who was really getting sick and tired of people telling her that her father was a bad man who was cruel and mean to his students.

"You mean my father Professor Snape?" Fred and George both looked at each other than looked at Angelica shocked.

Neither of them was listening to the sorting, they were too busy talking about their first prank of the year. Angie could feel a pair of eyes during a hole in her skin, she didn't want to look up because she knew it was her father. She looked back at the twins and continued their little conversation.

"We're sorry, we weren't really listening to the first part of your sorting, we were talking about our annual prank we do on the first day of lessons. We didn't know you were Snape's daughter"- George started.
