There was light. A blinding, all-in-my-face interrogation light. I brought my hands up in front of my eyes to shield them from the brightness. "She's awake!" Someone called. Who's awake? I thought. A man in a white coat walked over to me. "Sienna?" he murmured quietly, "You need to lie down. Save your energy."
I moved my arm to get a look at where I was, and the man was right there. He had brown hair and brown eyes. As soon as I looked into his eyes, I remembered pain and sadness. He reached toward me and I flinched. "Doctor," a woman stammered "She's doing it again. We have to raise the dosage."
The man sighed and reached over to a table next to my bed,"Now, Sienna," He said carefully, "This will hurt just a little bit, but you'll be okay."
There was a syringe in his hand filled with a green liquid. I wanted to get as far away from it as I could, "What are you doing?" I asked frantically.
He stayed silent and came towards me. Instinctively, I jumped off the table and ran towards the only door I could see, only to be stopped by a big man with huge arms. He steered me over to the table, and the Doctor. Wasting no time, the Doctor drove the needle towards my arm. "NO!!" I screamed, and suddenly, my arms were covered in thick gray scales. Everyone's eyes went wide, and the Doctor stepped away from me.
"Carl?" he said, "Would you please?"
And the man holding me hit me in the head. Hard.
Everything went fuzzy and I felt my arms return to normal. Then there was a sharp sting close to my shoulder, and I knew he had given my whatever was in that needle.
