"SIENNA!!"

I ran past Eric to get to my friend. She was curled into a ball on the ground, and snapping sounds came from where she was. Her arms and legs were bent out of proportion, and I swear she was turning a dark shade of black. Eric grabbed me before I could get to her, and pulled me away from the black mass that lay where Sienna lay. I hit him, screaming, "Let me go! I have to help her!"

Eric just pulled me back farther and whispered, "I don't know what's happening to her, so neither of us is going over to her until this blows over."

Even with his calm words, I was still in a state of panic. Then, the mass sat up, and I could swear that it was a...DOG. Well, more like a wolf, but whatever. It looked disoriented, and unsure of where it was, and then I heard a voice in my head, "What are you doing?" And the wolf cocked it's head at Eric and I.

I stopped struggling, and looked at the animal, recognizing the voice in my head. "...Sienna?" I ventured. The voice came back saying, "Yes?"

Eric let me go, as stunned as I was. "Are you a wolf?!" He asked.

I swear, the most human look passed over the dog's face, and the voice said, "What are you talking about?"

I walked over to her, deciding that this was, indeed, Sienna. Eric made an exasperated noise, and threw his hands in the air. Apparently, he didn't come to the same conclusion that I did. Reaching down to pet her head, I realized how big she was. And to put it bluntly, she was HUGE. As soon as I started to pet her, she shook, sending black fur everywhere, even on me. "Ew! Sienna!"

She looked smug, "Don't pet me."

I rolled my eyes, "Well geez. Sorry. I thought dogs liked to be pet."

She stood, seeming to figure out how to use her new body. "Well, not this dog. Let's go."

Eric stood back, being weirdly quiet. "Eric? Are you okay?" I asked.

He massaged his temples, "Yeah, just a headache."

Sienna walked closer to Eric, and knelt down. "Get on. I'll carry you." When he started to protest, she rolled her eyes, "Do you really want to run with a headache? Come on, I'm being nice." After a bit of arguing, he finally got on. As he climbed up, Sienna yelped and then growled at him.

Eric loosened his grip, "Sorry! I was holding too tight, wasn't I?"

Finally, we started to run again, but Sienna must've been running slowly, because, for once, I could keep up. And, of course, we all know how slow I am. Suddenly, she stopped in her tracks, and I fell to the ground (being the melodramatic diva I was) and pretended to die. "Eric?" Sienna called. Confused, I looked to her back, but Eric was nowhere to be found. "What do you mean? I'm right here." A voice came out of the air above Sienna.

We looked at eachother in confusion.

"Okay, is it just me, or do your fleas talk?" I said jokingly.

Sienna's look went dry at my comment. Apparently, she still didn't like my sense of humor. We heard a thud sound between us, and a bit of dust puffed up from the ground."Guys," Eric's voice said, "This is why they had me. Because of this!" I could only imagine him gesturing to himself. "I can become invisible!"

There was a slight pat and Sienna's fur went down. She yelped and jumped away a few feet, "Please tell me that was you, Eric."

We heard a sigh, and then Eric's voice again, "What do you think?"

"Well, we know he's here, so just get back on Sienna, and stay there." I said.

There was some more shuffling, and then Sienna growled and barked at Eric. There was a dry laugh, and then a quiet, "Fur. Right. Sorry."
