It had been a couple of hours since the Pevensies had gone out to hunt.
Evangeline was getting ready to tease them when they came back empty handed but it got to a point when she started to fret.
"Send out a patrol. I want you to find them!" She ordered the Centaur general as she burst into the Planning Room where the officials where having a meeting about a worrying settlement of Telmarines who had gotten too confident.
The general nodded and gathered a few men.
All the while she waited, Evangeline paced on the balcony of her and Peter's shared room.
Down below she could see the entrance to the Castle.
She watched as her horse returned with the Centaurs... without a rider. And her heart broke.
