The Narnians all looked up curiously from their weapons and armour as the two beavers walked past them, followed by the strange dark haired, ice blue, eyed girl who was, in turn, followed by three of the Pevensies, Peter, Susan and Lucy.

"Why are they all staring at us?" Susan asked.
"Maybe they think you look funny." Lucy answered, causing Peter and Evangeline to laugh. Susan shook her head with a smile.
"We have come to see Aslan." Peter said, drawing his sword in front of the Centaur that guarded the largest tent.
All the Narnians around them bowed as the great lion emerged from the tent.
Evangeline stood beside Peter and motioned for him to bow also.
"Welcome, Peter, Son of Adam. Welcome Susan and Lucy, Daughters of Eves. And welcome to you, Beavers. You have my thanks. But where is the fourth? Was it not supposed to be two Sons of Adams?" Evangeline stayed bowed, her head looking at the floor, dark hair obscuring her face. Aslan looked at her interestedly before Peter spoke up.
"That's why we're here, Sir. We need your help."
"We had a little trouble on the way." Susan explained.
"Our brother's been captured by the White Witch."
"Captured? How could this happen?"
"He betrayed them, Your majesty."
"Then he has betrayed us all!" The centaur who was guarding Aslan's tent said.
"Peace, Oreius." Aslan calmed him. "I'm sure there's an explanation."
"It's my fault really. I was too hard on him."

Susan placed a hand on Peter's shoulder and reassuringly said,

"We all were."

"Sir, he's our brother." Lucy said quietly.
"I know, dear one. But that only makes the betrayal all the worse. This may be harder than you think. However, I notice that there are four of you. You may rise, dear Evangeline."

Peter looked to his side in surprise and saw the dark haired girl still kneeling. He held out a hand and she looked up at him, her icy blue eyes widening. She took it and he noticed how cold her hand was.

"What happened to you?" Aslan asked as she stepped forwards. "I have been waiting along time. I'm sorry that you had to spend so long withing her clutches." Evangeline stared up at the lion.
"Come closer." She did as he commanded and when she was only a few steps away, Aslan roared.
Evangeline stood, feeling a strange sensation go over her and she dropped to her knees.
"You are released from her spell. Evangeline." She looked up at Aslan and noticed that she felt a warmth on her back. She hadn't felt the sun in one hundred years. She smiled as she turned around and the Pevensies and Narnians alike were surprised to see her dark, black hair had changed to a flowing golden colour and her cold, icy eyes were now a gentle green.
She stepped up to stand beside Aslan.
"It's been too long, dear friend."
