Hoof beats echoed through the forest, the ground, dappled with sunlight seeming to rumble. Mixed in with the neighs and thudding of horses were cheers and laughter.
Peter led the way, his once youthful look gave way to a more mature, knowledgable King with golden hair and wise, kind eyes.
Edmund stayed the same, his face matured, yet his nature was still stubborn and cheeky. He was closely followed by his eldest sister Susan, who's beauty had grown and grown, her trusty bow and arrow were still slung across her shoulder.
Behind them all came Lucy, urging her horse on. She had changed the most, her once youthful and innocent expression had changed into a kind and loving one, her grace was know throughout all of Narnia.
The siblings raced one another, teasingly Callie to each other. Edmund had fallen behind after being overtaken by Lucy but stopped his horse suddenly, looking around him curiously.
"Are you all right Phillip?" He asked his horse worriedly.
"I'm not as young as I once was." The horse replied breathily.
"Come on Ed!" Susan called as her horse neighed and she turned around to wait for her brother. Lucy and Peter followed.
"Just caching my breath." He answered.
"That's all we'll catch at this rate." She replied with a sigh.
"What did he say, Susan?" Lucy asked cheekily.
"You girls stay in the castle, I'll get the stag myself." Susan mocked her younger brother. The two girls chuckled delightedly t their brother's expression.
"What's this?" Peter asked, dismounting from the horse that he had borrowed from Evangeline. For years they had been together, so long that most Narnians just assumed they were already married even though they weren't.
Peter cautiously walked towards an ivy covered lamppost that burnt weakly.
"It seems familiar." He spoke.
"As if from a dream." Susan agreed. By now all four Pevensies had ga here's in front of the lamppost.
"Or a dream of a dream." Lucy elaborated. "Spare Oom." She spoke suddenly, looking around her.
"Lucy!" Peter called as she rushed towards the trees.
"Not again." Susan sighed, lifting her skirts slightly to race after her.
"Lu?" Peter asked as she dragged him forwards, through branches that held yellowing autumnal leaves.
"Come on!" she urged. Suddenly the sparse colourful branches turned into prickly green pine branches.
Lucy gasped excitedly as she reached a soft surface.
"These aren't branches?" Peter said, shoving forwards.
"They're coats." Susan answered him.
Suddenly the four started complaining.
"Ow, Susan that's my foot!"
"Peter, move off!"
"Hey, stop shoving!"
"Ow!"
"I'm not on your toe!"

Some enough all four of them fell out of the wardrobe onto the floor of the attic room.
The door in front of them unlatched and the Professor walked in.
"Oh, there you are. What were you all doing in the Wardrobe?" He asked, leaning down slightly to peer at them over his glasses.
"You wouldn't believe us if we told you, sir." Peter replied honestly.
The professor passed the cricket ball towards Peter, who caught it with ease.
"Try me." He grinned.
