Amy's jade eyes stared at him blankly. "You were there, right?" She asked, ignoring his previous statement. "Why couldn't I see you?"
Shadow released a sigh. "I am a spirit." He said again. "I bring the winter and the cold. I bring the ice and the snow." He looked back to the stream. "I have proved this to you already. Why don't you believe?" He asked as he placed his hands on her cold and rosy cheeks, forcing her to look at him.
She placed her hands atop his. "How can I believe when I've grown up being told that things like this only happen in dreams?" She pulled his surprisingly warm hands from her cheeks.
He looked at her, his face held an expression of hurt and confusion. Suddenly, he remembered the feeling of her lips upon his. It was such an amazing and strange feeling. "How did it feel when we. . . kissed. . .?" He asked her, secretly hoping she was just as blown away. "Did it feel like that when you've kissed anyone else?"
Her emerald eyes widend and a blush crept onto her cheeks. She averted her eyes from his crimson gaze. "Um, no." She had kissed other people before. She had her fair share of boyfriends, but even after being together for months the kisses certainly weren't as enthrilling as the kisses she shared with the ebony male. "And the kisses. . . were. . . n-nice." She looked down at her scarlet snow boots, desperatly trying to ignore the phantom shivers that ran up her spine as she remembered the feeling of their shared kisses.
He smiled to himself. Nice. The feeling of his lips on hers was nice.
