Amy looked down at her feet in embarrassment. What was she doing? Why was she acting this way? Why did he have to look so damn handsome? She cursed herself for allowing herself to feel this way about a stranger. She didn't know him yet. This was to soon. To rushed.
She looked up at they ebony male, a bright blush painting her cheeks. "I just. . . I don't know. . . " She trailed off. Her voice sounded meek and small as she whispered shyly. His fingers found their way under her chin and a warmth spread across her face.
"How can you do something so cold, but be so warm?" She asked as she cupped his hand on her cheek. His eyes fell and he sighed.
"I don't know." He spoke softly. "Before you, I've never been able to touch a living being." He looked deep into her emerald colored eyes. A heated blush covered his cheeks as he recalled the previous heated kisses they shared. "It's strange."
Amy smiled a small, loving smile. "Strange doesn't necessarily mean bad." She touched his arm in attempt to comfort him. "Think of it as change. Change isn't always good but, then again, it isn't always bad either. So don't be upset about it, please?" She spoke with a small smile that made the dimples in her cheeks stand out.
Shadow nodded. "Alright," He sighed.
A sudden gust of winter wind blew over them. Shadow, for the first time, felt the bitterness in the cold. He looked at Amy who hugged herself as she shivered. A feeling of guilt nested in his chest. "We should get you out of the cold." He stated as he began walking off, her arm softly locked in his grip.
"Where are we going?" She asked in confusion. "No offense, but you don't know where any place is." She dug the heels of her boots into the cold snow.
Shadow turned to her in slight annoyance, but he knew that she was right. He didn't actually know where everything was. He never paid enough attention to his surroundings. He never really cared to, as long as winter was brought. "I'm sorry," He said. "You're right. Where do we go?" He asked as he dropped his hand from her arm.
Amy scrunched her mouth in thought, an act Shadow found perrculiar, yet, adorable. "My apartment isn't far from here. It's down the street from the park outside of the woods." She said as another gust of winter wind hit. She shivered. "It shouldn't take more than fifthteen to twenty minutes to get there." She hugged herself in attempt to block out the bitterness of the wind.
Shadow nodded as he once again took ahold of the rose colored hedgehog's arm. "Then let's get going before you freeze." He commanded sternly.
