I'm looking through the evidence Detective Sparks copied for me. Deja vu hits me as I lay the papers out across the floor. I shudder, staring at the exact papers I saw when I was kidnapped. There is other evidence that the cops collected on their own but the majority is what that man gave them. When I separate it I realize the only thing keeping Mason and Joseph in jail is what was in that folder. I put that evidence in a separate folder and look at only the evidence the police collected. In this there are the tire tracks from both crime scenes, some shoe prints from the first scene, and even a few partial fingerprints from the house I escaped. I start a list of suspects on a dry erase board, trying to be non biased, putting Mason and Joseph on top. I write "Is it really two people or one?" I think about this realizing that from the perspective of Mason and Joseph being the suspects then it would only work with two sense I was in one or the others presence at the time but if it's someone I don't know then they would be able to pull this off on their own.
Motive:
Why me?
Why take me and do nothing for three weeks?
Why take me again and move me around the second time?

What does he plan to do next:
I throw the marker across the room in frustration when my mind comes up blank. I write all of this on a paper and erase it to start again. I figure the only way to prove them innocent is to figure out how the prosecution will try proving they're guilty and show where they are wrong. I take out the other folder and start again.
