Lucas decided not to try and sleep in the bed with me again, which I'm thankful for. I wouldn't have been able to fight him off if he had. I can barely stand now, using his arm to hold myself up. The beating he gave me on top of the beating I got from those girls has me wanting to curl up in a ball and sleep forever. Pushing through the pain we walk into the same room from before. The bodies are gone and there are cubicles set up. Leading me to a cubicle he helps me sit and puts his hand on my shoulders. I glare at my hands and wait for him to speak.

"This is the mind test, before when you were in the dark was a lesser mind test this time will be harder. You will be in the dark but there will be strobe lights everyone will have a mask on and you must make it to tomorrow alive." I look up at him in shock.

"Alive? What do you mean alive?! I'm not killing anyone!"

"Oh no, you're not.I am!" He giggles before whispering in my ear. "So you better stay safe cause I'd hate to lose you."

After he tells us this I realize there's a white mask in front of me. The lights go out and I think about not putting the mask on but am stopped when he yells from somewhere in the room.

"Not wearing a mask is cheating and will get you immediate termination when this game is over! Have fun my ladies!"

I put the mask on, breathing heavily, and bump into something. I jump back suddenly as cold metal just barely nicks me. I hear a girl whimpering to my left, her whimpers turn into a short scream and gurgling until she goes silent.

"One down! 9 more until I have my winner!"

I squeeze my eyes shut trying to shutout the scream that now haunts my memories and focus on getting away from him. I back up slowly until I feel the wall and edge towards the left trying to get in a corner where he can't sneak up on me.

"No please I—" I wince as I hear a thud and silence. I hate myself for being relieved it wasn't me. He's still on the other side of the room from what I can hear. I see flashes of white masks and use my hair to cover my face while still watching. I stay standing just in case I need to run but fatigue hits my battered body quickly.

Time feels like it goes slowly, I lose count of how many is a alive only focusing on where he is. A flash of white dashes in front of me and I hear heavy footfalls following behind. I hold my breath as he passes and curse myself for becoming distracted. I edge away from where I heard him run and when I hear a thud my tired mind overtakes any reason and I run tripping over a body and hitting my head on a cubicle.

Light hits my eyelids and I blink them open quickly. I jump back startled when his face is right in front of me.

"You won! I mean I was afraid you hadn't when I saw you lying there, that was pretty smart hiding amongst the dead, I would've never tried to kill an already dead girl." He lifts me up while talking. My legs give out when he lets go of me and I fall face first to the floor.

"Oh dear you must be tired it's okay I'll carry you to our bed! We won't stay long, we are going to our new home, but I will allow you some rest."

I look around as he lifts my limp body and cry for all the girls who lost their lives. He mistakes my tears for happiness because he smiles at me.

"I knew you would win, I was worried for a bit after I had to punish you but I knew eventually you would realize you were meant to be with me." My heart hurts. I feel like it's in my throat wanting to run away from the pain I'm in, the emotional pain. I just give up, I lay my head on his chest and give up and fall asleep.
