The beginning/ When Worlds Collide (L x Reader Death Note)

chapter 1- Memories

Your P.O.V.

You take a sip of your coffee as you wait for Watari to come to the cafe you were at. Watari called you late last night asking you to join L and the others. You told him since it was like 1am that you guys should meet up. Just you and him.

You sigh going deep into your thoughts remembering the first time you met Watari. It was also your first encounter with a Kira. It was when you were only 7. It hurt. You head hurt so bad just looking at him.

You look at a man who was standing next to you and your mother waiting to be able to cross the road. In his hand he was holding a black note book. You slowly uncovered your left eye patch revealing your red eye. You looked up at him.

He had no life span and your head began to hurt. This man is the source of all the chaos that is going on. You knew what to do. He had to be taken in and arrested. You grab the black note that had the words Death Note on it. You ran as fast as you could though the crowed side walk.

You heard him yelling at you. You looked over your shoulder to see him catching up. You ran into the police station as quick as could be. Some of the officers looked at you. You catch your breath and before your could say anything he ran into the station. Your eyes widen. Fear had taken over you. But you let it pass and shout "He is Kira!" you say as loud as you could. All of the officers stop and look. The man grabs the note book and begins laughing. "How did you know little girl? I guess ill write down everyone's name." And he began writing. Everyone was frozen even you were. this is the end. You watches everyone fall down to their deaths. But you remained alive. "Why are you not dead!?" He exclaimed. You looked around. You were half death god. didn't he see  that you have no life span? You have no real name? Is he that clueless. You look back at him when you hear a bang. Blood shoots out of his head as he hits the ground hard. A puddle of blood forms around him. A man picks you up and takes you  outside of the building. "My name is Watari. And you are?"

You snap out of this memory as You see Watari sit down at the table. "Hello." He says calmly.

"Hello. So we meet again at last." You say coolly. Not wanting to sound excited to be getting this job. It would really help since your last one at a restaurant didn't work out.

"Yes. So Z we... well I was wondering if you wanted to help us on the new Kira case. I understand what happened a long time ago if you don't want this job, but it would be nice."

Kira... I want him dead. You sigh "Look... I need a job, but if it has to do with Kira... Ill take it, but I want to know who I'm working with first." I have little trust. I have been betrayed so many times by friends and  my father I wont let it happen again.

"Of course Z. And ill tell everyone to call you Z. Since you don't like to use your first name in cases or with others."

Good... he remember.
